WELCOME TO OUR LIBRARIESThis winter’s brochure takes you on a journey of discovery with our theme, Food for the Mind.We can learn how to make a healthier lifestyle our priority or how to grow our own food by connecting with our local community. You can get crafty making a mini sculpture paper bowl or designing your own recipe book. Get hands on with an iPad and experience foodie apps just for fun.

Catch a movie as part of Movie Mania or feed your children’s imagination by bringing them along to our Children’s Book Week special event which brings to life on stage the story, Herman and Rosie.

Budding authors can find inspiration with our Reading Matters on the Road and Writing Workshop events.

As always we have our regular baby, toddler, preschool and youth programs and Holiday Fun! events that run during the school holidays. To help you make the most of technology there is an ever-increasing number of eKnow How sessions.

There is so much to choose from. Make visiting your local library part of everyday life!

This one-hour session for the beginner will explore the Apple iPad. Find out why they are so popular, and learn some secrets to help you get the most out of your iPad. Bring along your own device, or use one provided by the library.

This session will introduce the library website and online catalogue, and demonstrate placing holds and renewing items on loan. It will also explore free online learning resources and downloadables.
