Horrie Miller entered G-AUHT in the 1928 Western Australian Centenary Air Race (Sept 29 to Oct 7). He streamlined the aircraft by covering the two unused passenger openings. He won the rich handicap prize of £1000.

G-AUHT was re-registered as VH-UHT around 1930 inline with changes to the registration system. It is shown as it appeared during the 1936 South Australian Centennial Air Race (Dec 16 to Dec 18).

The aircraft didn't gain a winning place in the race. It was converted back to its original 3 passenger configuration after the race but was destroyed in a nonfatal accident at Kadina, SA, on May 15, 1937.

Clarence E. 'Bud' Anderson, Jr, graduated from pilot training in September 1942 and was initially assigned to the 328th Fighter Group in the USA. When the 357th Fighter Group was established he was transferred and went with them to the UK.

MB997 was one of the ex-RAF Spitfires that equipped the Norwegian Air Force in period immediately following WW2. This aircraft crashed in 1950 while practicing low flying. The aircraft remains were recovered in 2018.

I-LIFE was delivered to Linee Aerre Italiane (LAI) in March 1957. When LAI and Alitalia underwent a corporate merger in October 1957, the LAI Viscount fleet was transferred to Alitalia. I-LIFE carried this Alitalia livery from around 1960 until 1964.

I-LIFE was a Viscount 785D model and first flew on 12 March 1957. It was delivered to LAI on 27 March 1957.

In February 1959 TC-SEV was on a special flight to carry the the Turkish Prime Minister to London to sign a treaty over Cyprus when it crashed on approach to Gatwick. Although the Prime minister survived, 9 of the 16 passengers and the crew were killed.

TC-SEV was a Viscount 794D model and first flew on 16 July 1958. It was delivered to Türk Hava Yollari on 1 August 1958.

Continental Airlines introduced the Viscount into service in February 1958. The Viscount 810 series was called 'Viscount II' by Continental. The scheme depicted was carried by their fleet until 1962.

N240V was a Viscount 812 and was ordered by Continental Airlines. It first flew on 14 February 1958 and departed the UK on its ferry flight to the USA on 10 May 1958.
