WHAT’S NEW - EXPLORING COMMODITIES & ENERGY CONTENT

Transportation Explorer Guide enhanced with new links

We have added functionality to the Market Data and Tools tab of the Transportation Explorer Guide on your Thomson Reuters Eikon desktop. The changes make the Guide easier to navigate so you can get straight to the content you need. What’s new? The new layout offers:

• An improved page view

• Direct links to key content and capabilities

• Access to real-time and fundamentals data Even if you are not an expert on transportation markets, you’ll find it much easier to access real-time and fundamentals data plus many useful tools. As an example, we have now separated data by tanker/bulk or by FFA, Rates and fixtures, allowing easier analysis. How to access the data You’ll notice the changes when you open the Transportation Explorer Guide on your Thomson Reuters Eikon desktop.

Energy Explorer gets links to Ethanol and Biodiesel Guides

You can now access Ethanol and Biodiesel Guides directly from the left hand menu of the Energy Content Explorer in your Thomson Reuters Eikon desktop. What’s new? The update makes it simpler to get straight to the price and historical data you need and drill down further into Ethanol and Biodiesel data. From this view you can quickly navigate to:

• A real-time Quote Object which displays all the real-time values for a specific future

• The 360 menu which displays links to all other relevant content, charts, news for the index future.

• The Market data and Tools tab which displays links to related Ethanol and Biodiesel content, real-time and fundamentals data.

• The News and Event tab which will display general news for Ethanol and Biodiesel markets How to access the data You’ll notice the changes when you open the Energy Explorer Guide on your Thomson Reuters Eikon desktop.

New ‘text tips’ added to the Explorer Guides links

A ‘text tip’ pop-up, with the description of the item, is now displayed each time you hover over a link in the Explorer Guide. This helps users to quickly browse the different items before opening them. The example below shows how you can now preview the description of the "Oil Fundamental database" link by hovering your mouse over the link.

New OPEC pre-built display for quick access to OPEC prices, data and news

Take advantage of new Thomson Reuters Eikon pre-built display which allows rapid access to key data provided by the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC). OPEC data is crucial to Oil market participants and this new screen puts it at the centre of your workflow. What’s included? The new model allows you to see the following, published by OPEC, all from one easily navigable screen:

• Prices

• Production

New single screen for Commodity Options monitoring and analysis

Viewing critical Commodity options content is now easier with the introduction of a single-destination screen for quicker monitoring and analysis. It’s been designed as a one-stop-shop for the content you need, saving you valuable time when finding data. What’s included? You can use the screen’s tabs to perform a variety of functions from your Thomson Reuters Eikon desktop e.g. to monitor WTI Crude Oil Options or CME Wheat Options. You can also use the tabs to perform the following: On the Monitor List tab

• Browse a list of commodities options of futures sorted by exchange and sorted by your choice of sub-asset classes

• Monitor all options for one or more tenors of one contract

• View associated volatility surfaces for a selected contract

• Easily navigate towards 3D volatility charts tool

• Create and save a list of specific individual options for closer tracking On the Analyze Single tab

• Analyze single options individually (volatility, greeks) alongside what-if-scenario scenarios

• Compare underlying contract vs. ATM volatility indices volatilities (30,60,90 Days) for each option On the My List tab

• Create and save a list with your favourite contracts for quick switching

Try the new Oil Swaps Overview pre-built display

Be first to test a beta version of the upcoming Oil Swaps Overview pre-built display on your Thomson Reuters Eikon desktop and tell us what you think of its features. What’s included? The new screen is designed to make finding key prices for Oil swaps easier. At present, the beta only carries content from Asia. The full version will feature a range of enhanced global content. At this stage we would very much like to hear your feedback on the model's content and features, via the community page in the model itself. Tell us what you’d like to see and how we can improve its final feature list. WHAT’S NEW - PRICING AND VALUATION FOR COMMODITIES & ENERGY INSTRUMENTS

New Dark and Spark Spread Analysis

Try the new Dark and Spark Spread Analysis pre-built model on your Thomson Reuters Eikon desktop. Designed to allow easier valuation analysis to power your decisions, it allows you to quickly visualize calculated price series for spreads from your selected Thomson Reuters instrument inputs for Power, Natural Gas, Coal and Carbon. What’s included? The model allows you to:

• Select countries and tenors from the tree view on the left

• Adjust currency, units and efficiency factors

• See historical and real-time prices

• View and analyze the results in both table and chart format

WHAT’S NEW – CUSTOMIZING YOUR NEWS

New customizable Top News component on the Home Page

This feature allows you to customize cross-asset Top News components on your Home Page, by choosing one topic from all available Top News. The selection will be remembered so the next time you come back to the page, the previously selected topic will be displayed.

WHAT’S NEW – WORKING WITH COMMUNITIES

Access contacts and conversations more efficiently, from within a single view

The Left Pane has been enhanced to provide a comprehensive list of all conversations in addition to the contacts list. The embedded contact search functionality now provides fine-tuned results by narrowing down matches as you type Additional enhancements include:

• The ability to re-size the length of each component in the left pane according to preferences

• The ability to minimize/maximize the contact list • All user-defined layout changes carry over to the next sessions (i.e. become persistent).

Below are the three left-pane components in greater detail: Search box: The search box streamlines the process of manually scrolling through your contact list in order to find people. It quickly narrows down matching results as you type and presents a list of all shared conversations with the specific counterpart. You have to type at least two characters to receive matches. Even if no matches are found, you are given the option to search the entire Directory.

Monitor: The Monitor lets you manage all your open conversations -- also referred to as “activities” -- and set up your preferred view:

• The Monitor header shows the number of current conversations (activities)

• The plus (“+”) and minus (“-“) signs allow you to control how many lines of the conversation, if any, appear in each activity (10 lines maximum).

• The yellow highlight and bold headers indicate new unread message(s).

Contacts: The improved contact list conveniently displays the total number of contacts within a group and how many of them are online, next to the group name. For example, if the group contains 5 contacts and 2 are online, the fraction “2/5” will follow the group name.

Enhance your collaborative workflow by holding conversations with multiple participants.

The new multi-party conversation feature allows you to add contacts to a conversation with a simple drag-and-drop from your contacts list. Open the Message Center, start a conversation with one of your contacts by clicking on their name, then add others via drag-and-drop. To eliminate accidental additions, you will be prompted to confirm each time you add a contact to a conversation.

Multi-party conversations are currently supported only within the Message Center. Adding multiple participants to a conversation from the Eikon Sidebar will be feasible in an upcoming release. To see a list of all the participants in a multi-party conversation, mouse-over the conversation header.

Quickly share documents and spreadsheets with all participants in a conversation using the File Sharing capability.

The File Sharing capability allows users to send Microsoft® Word or Excel documents to contacts from within a conversation window.

Click on the File Share icon to browse and select files. Once you have selected a file, click the ‘Send’ button to start uploading the file to the server.

Once the upload completes, all participants in the conversation will receive a hyperlink to the file. To access the file, they can click on this link.

Speed up real-time collaboration by sharing Eikon objects with select recipients via Messenger.

You can now quickly share a Thomson Reuters Eikon Object by dragging & dropping it directly to a recipient on the contacts or the open conversation list. This capability speeds up the collaborative flow as it eliminates the need to first open a conversation window by selecting a counterpart from the contact list. First, access the intended recipient by either: - opening the Sidebar contact list - or opening the Message Center and marking it as “Always Visible” Select a Thomson Reuters Eikon Object and drag & drop it directly onto the contact’s name. A conversation window will automatically open, or an existing conversation with this contact will come into focus. A link to the object will be inserted in the reply control; all you have to do is click on the “Send” button.

Help contain business and legal risk with conversation disclaimers

All Messenger conversations now display a Thomson Reuters disclaimer inline with the conversation text. The disclaimer is displayed at the beginning of each new conversation, or, in the case of multi-party conversations, to each new participant joining the conversation. Disclaimer messages stand apart from the rest of the conversation contents by virtue of being enclosed in a rectangular box. Organizations will be able to display custom corporate disclaimers to their users when this capability is introduced in an upcoming release.
