The "atmospheric river" treated us gently after all. With that said, we are glad to learn that our multiple ways of communicating a school closure works well. If you did not get a notification from the school's urgent alert, please contact Laura Wallace and we will make sure your information is updated. We are in the third week of Advent, and will celebrate our Christmas Mass on Thursday at 10:00am, as well as our evening Christmas celebration on Thursday night at 6:30. Thank you to everyone for so generously contributing to the school's holiday food drive for the Redwood Empire Food Bank. Our little school has already raised thousands of pounds of food for people in need. The Food Drive ends on Friday. Please pay special attention to the Key Dates below. What's New Dear Tracy,

Advent Week Three - Presentation School For the remainder of Advent, students and their classes willpray together to remind ourselves of the blessings of thisseason and the meaning of Christmas. We will include ourservice here, so you can join your prayers to ours.

Caring For CambodiaIn case you missed it in the spotlight a few weeks ago, we thought youshould know about TessaFreudenberger's 8th grade service project.  Last summer 8th gradestudent Tessa Freudenberger visited Cambodia and participated in anoutreach program at a village preschool.  

It left an impact on her, and for her 8th grade service project sheconducting a clothing drive for Caring for Cambodia. Look for a collectionbox outside the school office.  Let's help Tess help the children ofCambodia!

School OuterwearAs the weather turns cold, we are seeing a variety of winter outerwear appearing on campus. Weask that parents ensure their child wears only school approved outerwear to school. Between thehours of 8:20­3:15 they cannot wear personal sweatshirts, sweaters, and jackets. If you have anyquestions regarding ordering winter wear, please contact Laura Wallace via email or at 935­0122. See the right side of your beehively accounts to get links to outerwear sales.  Student NewsDo you have exciting news about our students outside of school?  We would love to feature ourstudent's successes in the ENEWS.  Just send a blurb with picture (if available) tocommunications.

Presentation Spirit Wear Helps Feed Sonoma's Hungry/ Price Reduced!

We will be once again selling Presentation School T­shirts that students can wear on all Fridays. $5 of each shirt sold will be given to the Redwood Empire Food Bank. These will only be soldfor a limited time, so stock up!  Only $20

Also, parents and students can order new styles of vests and sweatshirts, proceeds from which willalso be gifted to the REFB, while the Holiday Food Drive lasts.

Food Drive Rules

RULES AND INFO HERE

Our food drive is in full swing.  A few classes have already filled their barrels!That's the spirit we were hoping for.  Remember, the goal is 100% participation.Each class that reaches 100% participation will receive a free dress day toencourage and recognize their giving spirit!

Barn Sale For Pathways

We are hosting a Country Style Flea Market on April 12th in the courtyard of our school campus. All proceeds will benefit our Presentation Pathways Scholarships.

Upgrading Your Technology?

Parents and friends who are updating their personal technology areinvited to share their old tablets and laptops with the school. Theschool's current iPads are iPad 4's.  Having more of these is alwayswelcome.  If you have other technology you would like to donate,please let us know what you have, so we can see if we have the rightfit. Thank you for your help.

A Season for Caroling

The Christmas season wouldn't be complete with out caroling!  Both our 4th and5th grade classes did their share this week.  The 5th grade class caroled forMontesori of Sonoma on Monday, and again Monday night at The Lodge.

4th grade joined our 5th grade class at The Lodge, for a magical evening.  Thisis a treasured tradition for our families.  On Tuesday, they traveled to _____ tobring cheer to the residents.
