North Shore Camping Trip! August 11th—14th

Cost: $80 We will be heading up to Lamb’s resort on the North Shore of Lake Superior. This is a great trip for hiking, exploring, having fun, stargazing and other things that happen on

camping trips!

What’s Your Story? This summer we are going to be focusing on the power of testimonies in people’s lives. We are going to be looking at passages of Scripture, and how God uses our stories, not on-ly in our lives but also in the lives of others! You will hear from some of our friends as they share their story about what Jesus has done in their lives, and you will be encouraged to share your own story as well! When God’s followers come together and talk about what God is doing in their lives, the Spirit works and moves. If we focus on our King and what He’s doing, we can’t be distracted or discouraged by anything that’s around us, because we know that He is stronger and He is moving. “For we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard.” Acts 4:20

Guatemala Meeting after church

10th—14 VBS at Meadow Creek Sign up with Nate or Micah to volunteer at VBS this summer! We need lots of helpers! It’s a great time to impact the lives of the younger kids and grow in your own life! 15th—Hangout in the Park: Meet us out at Bunker Hills Park, by the big Pavilion, at 6pm and stay as late as you want. Fami-lies welcome to join us! 17th—Softball Tourney: Come out to Meadow Creek at 1pm and join other ar-ea youth groups for a fun tournament of softball! It will go till around 7pm! 20th—Valleyfair Day!: Meet at church at 10am, bring a bag lunch, or money and get ready to ride rollercoasters all day! We will return to church at 11pm. Cost: $25. 23rd—August 1st Guatemala Trip! We depart early in the morning on July 23rd, specific times will be given to any who would like to send off the team in prayer!

5:30pm meet in the lower gym for dinner and the parents meeting. Youth Group starts at 6:30 and it’s our senior apprecia-tion night! 3rd—Praise in the Park: Meet us out at the park at 6 pm. Open for anyone who wants to come, we will be hanging out at the park, biking, frisbee, volleyball, and just having a good time! Worship will start at 7 pm. Pick up at 10pm. 11th—14th North Shore Camping Trip Cost: $85 We will be heading up to Lamb’s Resort again this summer for a fun weekend along Lake Superior’s North Shore. This trip will include hiking, camping, star gazing, sunrise watching, and other fun things! 24th—Prayer Walk and Bunker Hills: We will be meeting as a group and doing a prayer walk around one of the area schools in preparation for the upcoming year. After we will meet with other area youth groups at Bunker Hills and have a time of praise and worship with some fun games and food!
