UNSIGHLY PREMISES BYLAW

Bylaw 2011-778 states that no owner (s) of a premises shall cause, allow

or permit the premises to become or to continue to be an Unsightly Premises. This means that any property that exhibits visual evidence of a lack of general maintenance, clean up and upkeep, including excessive

accumulation on the premises of:

the whole or part of any vehicles which are not registered with the Motor Vehicle Registry for the current year and which are inoperative by reason of disrepair, removed parts or missing equipment or any vehicles which are otherwise not in a roadworthy condition

Garbage, dirt, soil, gravel, rocks, petroleum products

hazardous material and sewage

disassembled equipment or machinery

broken household chattels or goods

animal excrement & the whole or part of animal remains

CARBON CENTENNIAL POOL Due to COVID-19, the Carbon Outdoor Swimming Pool

will be closed for the 2020 season. We look forward to a great season in 2021!

RECYCLING PROGRAM REINSTATED

The recycling program has been reinstated in

Carbon. Cardboard (flattened) and Newspaper

can be recycled using the bins at the Diamond

Valley Subdivision. **Styrofoam not permitted**

CARBON TRANSFER STATION

The Carbon Transfer site is for household garbage ONLY. All garbage MUST be bagged and cannot be loose.

This is so debris does not blow away during transport. Please remember to be respectful to the Attendants as they

are only doing their job and can refuse any load.

The Carbon Transfer Station is open on Saturday's from

9am to 5pm and located East on Sharples Road,

first left, first right on top of the hill.

CARBON RESTAURANT UPDATES

The Carbon Valley Hotel is closed to the public, however, still providing takeout orders & off sales. For orders and free delivery within the Village of Carbon call 403.572-3436. Hours: Sun - Wed:12pm -9pm, Thurs - Sat: 12pm - 11pm.

Mikey's Place will accept take-out orders only and strictly implements that only 1 person per family or group come inside the restaurant to place or pick up orders. Call 403.572.2362.
