DD Commissioning Plan

CFT arrives DAB mid-June, install and survey (Gaston) Cryostat install and hookup through mid June, testing

cooldown followed by cassette insertion, end of June (Russ)

As waveguides hooked up (CPS, 8, 7, etc.), testing is needed

Current plan: 2 people/crew, 2 crews/shift, 2 shifts/day, 2 LG/crew/shift 8 lightguides/day. (300 CFT light guides 8 weeks)

Initial test, LED pulsers on the ribbons, secondary electrical.

Verify light continuity. Verify photoelectron noise consistent with temperature and

voltage Electrical noise.

Cables: In house (AFE sequencer VRB) DAQ: Running now Unpacking: SVX unpacking done, some mapping

remains. Examines: Available now, will need tweaking for commissioning

Cosmics: Piggyback on muon trigger Tracking: Cosmic tracking mostly OK, minor technical fixes
