DD Commissioning Plan

CFT arrives DAB mid-June, install and survey (Gaston) Cryostat install and hookup through mid June, testing

cooldown followed by cassette insertion, end of June (Russ)

As waveguides hooked up (CPS, 8, 7, etc.), testing is needed

Current plan: 2 people/crew, 2 crews/shift, 2 shifts/day, 2 LG/crew/shift 8 lightguides/day. (300 CFT light guides 8 weeks)

Initial test, LED pulsers on the ribbons, secondary electrical.

Verify light continuity. Verify photoelectron noise consistent with temperature and

voltage Electrical noise.


DD Needed Components

CFT cylinders: In DAB mid-late June Cryostat: Operational late-June Cassettes: In DAB June/July (30-ish, 11 in hand now) LHe: Tested already, hiatus early July (end iron) Lightguides: In DAB June/July, all CPS, 100 CFT (7/8 S/A)
