OBJECTIVE 3 Looking at the constraints and barriers in the health services( programme

strategies) what can be done to overcome these in concrete steps

SOLUTIONS

* Train and skill birth attendance (Home Deliveries and feeding

practices)

* Involve CBO’s, NGO’s and TAC

* The need for Community health workers – and recommend tasks and responsibilities (child health priorities)

* Pregnant mothers taught on emergency care

* Involve private sector in all matter pertaining to IYCF

facilities

* Advocacy and responsibility of BF Messages

* Fill in vacant posts

* Bathopele principles be integrated in our training

* Providing an enabling environment( MBFHI)

* Address stigma

* Human Milk Banks

* Capturing data (M & E)

and Provinces

* Core indicators must be included into the DHIS
