What stereotypes mean it? Stereotype can include traits, physical appearance,

activity preferences and behaviors of different social groups. It can be positive or negative attributes, accurate or inaccurate and can be agreed or rejected by members of stereotyped group. Based on the advertisement had shown, there is a strong reflection a female stereotype. Which is totally disagree with the people in this 21th generation. Due to our people are more educated and more looking forward to the human’s rights compare to the last time. For example, everyone are getting chance to speak up for everything they like, freedom is the aim of the society, everyone will have the same status when comes to law and the major one female and male are given the same treat. As we compare to the further generation people are looking down on the women as they stereotypes women as weakling. From the printing quality and the appearance of the model from the advertisement, we can define that the advertisement is created at the time on early fifties or sixties, because people on that time are very bias toward woman. Based on the women’s physical strength and the emotional controlling is not good as male. Therefore, people on that time stereotype woman as weakling. On the other hand, woman lost all the powers and speaking rights because on the last time war is everywhere. Hence, strength and power represent social status on that time. The women will only mainly get to serves the males and cannot be involved in any high stated post. For example, general, army, basic worker, politician or others involved to social. As we can see from the caption they used in the advertisement “You mean a women can open it… ?”. It proven that they categorize women as the weak one because from our general knowledge all adults can open the cover easily by not using much of energy or strength needed. In Conclusion, Stereotype is a deadly weapon existing around us. It often targets people with diverse appearance, beliefs and behavior, which influence people’s decision. It could be harmful without people realizing it. Stereotypes still take place today, yet people remains tolerating these behaviors, it must be stopped. To proceed the human evolution, we much pass through this obstacle and get to improve the qualities of human’s life.
