The U.S. Department of Agriculture started My Plate.

My Plate replaces the Food Guide Pyramid.

My Plate is very easy to understand.

Each part is a food group.

The symbol shows what a healthy meal looks like.

Our bodies need foods from each group.

My Plate includes five food groups.

These foods make us strong and healthy.
