that promises to raise the bar to a new level of

environmental stewardship.

The UniverCity Childcare project will be

housed in a building that will be one of the first

in Canada to meet the “Living Building

Challenge® ” In order to meet this challenge

the building will be energy independent, water

independent, free of toxic materials and

completely local in its composition.

Last but certainly not least, it is designed to be

an aesthetic joy to all who live and work in it.”
