DESCRIPTION

This is a project for science class. If you are someone out there looking at this I would like you to know the last 6 slides are made up events and they didn't not happen like I told them. This is because my science project required me to. However, the first 3 or 4 slides are true pictures, patents, ect.

Dear Diary,

Today I sold my first patented idea. It was a smashing hit. Everyone

loved it; lots of companies wanted my product. There was one company

who offered the best deal, however. They said they would tell their

manufactures to produce as many as they could, as fast as they could.

They also said they would give me 55% of the proceeds; this was

something I couldn’t say no to. So I decided to sell my product to them.

I was so excited to have sold my first invention and have it patented to

make sure no matter what, people knew it was my product, and I had to

get paid for it every time one was sold. Now I have money coming in

everyday, because the motors have officially made into stores all across

the USA. I cannot believe that my invention was bought from someone,

especially as big a company as Westington. However, I don’t know what

I should do with all this money. I know that I will buy a home, so I no

longer have to stay in these cramped apartments anymore. With all of

this money I am receiving it also allows me to sit and invent create

whatever comes into my mind. Lately, I’ve been thinking of creating a

business of my own. I honestly don’t have a thought of what I am to do

with all of this money; maybe starting a business of my own isn’t such a

bad idea.

Sincerely,

Nikola Tesla

Nikola Tesla a never heard of engineer and scientist,

has decided to share a great invention of his. He has

invented the Tesla Motor. This is a motor that will

replace the current motor in most cars and other ma-

jor machines. The patents of Mr. Nikola Tesla was

described to the Westington Company, and they

bought the product. They are now pushing their

manufactures to produce as many motors as fast as

they can. They are eager to sell this product as fast as

they can because they know it will change the future

as we know it. Nikola Tesla was offered 55% proceeds

off the product. He has agreed, to work with them.

Nikola Tesla might easily be the best inventor of our

time, what will he create next?

Edison: “Jealous Much” Thomas Edison explains to

reporters that Tesla is a

fraud. That he will never be

successful. But is this the

real truth? We believe he is

actually jealous and that he

is mad that he didn’t think

of creating something as

grand as this first. Edison ,

when asked about our con-

spiracy had a strange look

on his face and said this is

not true. He is a great in-

ventor and he has made

many inventions that help

us today. He then said,

“Tesla has one invention

and this is all he will ever

create.” He then turned

around and

stomped into

his factory,

leaving many

people curious.

Why does he

Dear Edison,

Since I invented the Tesla Motor I have come into a great deal of money . I

am now able to open my own company, I call it Tesla’s Electric Light and

Manufacturing. Here we can build and create just like you do. Anyway, I am

having a grand get together at my new home to celebrate the opening of my

new company. I was wondering if you would care to join us this weekend?

Please do come, I would hope we could work together sometime to make bigger

and better creations. That would not be just for our benefit, but the whole

world’s. I know you don’t particularly like me, but I hope you will at least con-

sider what I have offered.

Sincerely,

Nikola Tesla

P.S. My home address is 215 Maple Oak Street. You shall see it on your left hand

side.

It a warm day of summer up

here in New York city. Every-one going about their daily business. Then June 9, 1896

rolls around and this is a date everyone will remember and

tell their children for genera-tions to come. On this day the famous inventor , Nikola

Tesla, harnesses the power of Niagara Falls. They have cre-

ated the Niagara Falls power plant, it is the first hydro-electric plant in the whole

word. This location is a great turning point in the history of

electricity, and we are pleased to say it was one of our fellow Americans. No one

would have believed this could happen in a million

years. It looks like we have been proven wrong. They say this plant will be able to

power a large part of New York for years to come. It is

also a more eco-friendly (better for the environment)

way to have energy according to Mr. Tesla. They are plan-ning to expand more on this

power plant as we speak. They also would like to install

these all over the US. Not just

for waterfalls either. They would like to use lakes, rivers, and even the ocean. When we

asked Tesla what his next move was he said, “I will in-

vent whatever comes to my mind next that would help out

many people.” Not a very clear answer, but a good one. In all of this Nikola Tesla has

become a very rich man, and everyone knows his name,

because he has so many in-

ventions that help us out to-day (and many named after him or for him). Possibly for

many years to come too. May this event go down in history

and never forgotten. Nikola Tesla is truly the greatest

inventor the US has ever

seen.

NEW YORK TRIBUNE

G O I N G BA C K I N H I S T O RY

Where did Nikola Tesla begin?

Nikola Tesla was born in the Austrian-Hungarian Empire in a mountainous village known

as Lika. Tesla’s father was an Orthodox Priest, and Tesla

was usually immersed in his enormous library. His mom was a hardworking woman

who created new appliances

to help with home or farm responsibilities. He was home-schooled and then sent

to a real school when he was older. One day when he was

at school he saw a picture of Niagara Falls and in his imagi-nation he saw a huge water

wheel turning the water into

energy somehow. He told his Uncle and said one day he would go to America to do just

that. Thirty years later his dream became real. Despite

Tesla’s creativity he did not see himself as an inventor

until he was a young adult.

Page 10: What if project presentation

What would have happened if Nikola Tesla had patented his ideas before he showed them to the public? How different would people’s lives be if this had occurred? In 2015, the world in general would have not changed very much, however instead of having companies like Georgia Power and General Electric; most people would probably use a company with the name Tesla in it, because he is the “Father of Electricity”. He also opens a business called

Tesla’s Electric Light and Manufacturing Company. His company would most likely replace many companies that exist like Apple, Dell, ect; because his company would

produce phones, computer, and other electronics. The reason being is that his company would do all the wiring, but then the manufacturing part of his company would produce the electronics and its accessories. If he had still kept it open, like he did in my version of history, many products such as motors and big things such as power plants, would also be made by his company and his name (and company) would be better known names around the USA. In my version of history he also manages to keep his company open,

since he has so much money. He is then able to build the power plants for harnessing the power of Niagara Falls. In return many people have a more environmental way of getting

power. Since he has accomplished so much in such a small span of time, many people remember him as the greatest inventor/scientist/engineer of that time. He also manages

to get a patent for his motor before he shows it to people, and in return his product is bought and he becomes rich. This allows him to open the company of his dreams. Where he can sit and invent new products that will make the general public’s lives easier. So in 2015 I believe that Nikola Tesla would be a well-known name such as Edison is, and I also believe many products such as x-rays, would be named after him. I also believe he would

replace many major companies we have during this time in age. All of this might have been possible if Nikola Tesla had patented his projects, before he had shown them to the

public.
