HIGH STRENGTH BEARING STEEL
PFI are manufactured from FORGED AISI 52100 chrome steel inner rings, outer rings providing a molecular structure increasing extended bearing life. All rolling elements and inner & outer rings are heat-treated to 60-65 HRC.
ACCURACY
PFI Bearings are manufactured to International world standards ABEC 3 (ISO 492 class 6) dimensional tolerances.
RADIAL INTERNAL CLEARANCE
PFI uses preselected OEM preload on all Wheel Hub Bearing units to provide optimum long life , and the standard production program consists of world standard radial clearance C3. Other radial tolerances are available by special
order.
Every PFI Ball Bearing is electronically tested for noise and vibration according to ANSI/AFBMA Standard 13-1987.
Our testing process allows us to check for unwanted noise in the full sound frequency range.
