Arch Dis Child 2005;90:225-228
A questionnaire was given to 50 mothers and 48 fathers, of premature babies in the NICU, who had been invited to join between two and seven research studies.
Seven research studies:

2. CAP trial
3. DART trial
4. RCT of use of respiratory function monitor for ventilated infants to determine whether seeing the tidal volume, minute volume and flow pattern altered ventilator settings.
5. RCT to determine whether a toy placed outside an incubator reduces rate of infection compared with a toy in the incubator.
6. Crossover studies of different techniques of ventilation.
7. A trial investigating usefulness of IL-8 as a marker of infection.
