Down Under Training – Operating Paradigm
Down Under Training is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) dedicated to delivering
Nationally accredited training programs throughout Queensland.
Our resources industry training is in line with the Resources and Infrastructure Training
Package. Training and assessment materials are moderated and validated regularly to
ensure that they meet with Australian Skills Quality Association (ASQA) standards and
requirements.
All training is outcome-based and appropriate to the coal industry with a focus on achieving
measurable changes in the workplace.
Our training and assessment materials are contextualized to meet Legislative and site
requirements.

industry liaison, providing a credible point of

committees, this ensures the latest market trends and Legislative requirements in
our training solutions.
We are flexible in our training approach and understand the differing styles abilities
and needs of trainees. We enable trainees to prove their abilities in a supportive
learning environment providing mentoring services to both learners and their
supervisors.

Our History
Down Under Training and Consulting (DUT) places the upmost importance on meeting client
expectations by delivering quality safety and training solutions on time and on budget.
We specialise in training for the mining and construction Industries and were established in
1998 out of the need for a training provider that looked at the individual needs of its students
rather than train to a group.
We have secured our reputation by maintaining a dedication to our clients and their
individual needs.
We pride ourselves on the quality of the training our graduates receive and industry acceptance of our quality training has been reflected by repeat business from those employers and companies.
DUT has a quality assurance system in place, which recognises all aspects of operation of a
