A cat is a small mostly furry, carnivorous and mostly domesticated mammal. AbyssinianThe origin of the cat is usually known to be Egypt. They are believed to the direct descendant of the sacred cat of Egypt as there are a lot of similarity between modern day Abyssinian cat and the ancient cat. These cats are an extremely beautiful and colorful cat with agouti ticked coat. Though they are not like constant lap cats but they are mostly people orientated and very affectionate. They like to engage

themselves in homely activities that is why they tend to be very good pets.

Burmese

This particular cat is strong as well as elegant short haired and athletic in build having the capability to carry weight sometimes greater in size. Their coats are very short with a satin like texture which requires a little grooming. These breed is said to have originated in Burma hence the name Burmese cats.

They are available in different colors all across the globe which includes brown, blue, chocolate, lilac, red, cream, lilac tortle to name a few. These are one of the most popular breeds which are taken as pets because of their outgoing nature and loving nature.

British Shorthair

British shorthair is said to have originated in the alleys of the 19th century British cities. This cat is usually medium in size with a powerful body, strong short legs, rounded paws, broad chest with a thick tail with rounded tip. Their eyes are very different with well opened and a short broad nose. These cats are also ideal as a house cats. This particular cat has a lifespan of 15-18 years. These cats are also available in different 30 different colors.

Norwegian Forest Cat

This is a relatively new breed found in Australia. The best thing about this breed is that their large almond shaped expressive eyes glows. This is large cats which take more time to mature which is 4 to 5 years. Along with their feet, their ears have long tuft of hair. They usually make a bird like sound when they need to communicate. They are often regarded as human being’s best friend and are extremely friendly with children. They do have a natural curiosity and can be easily groomed as per your house rules.
