Application Requirements
Applicants must. . .
Aside from completing the Fulton County Schools Common Magnet Program Application applicants must:
1. Overall Grade Point Average
2. Discipline Record
3. Westlake Magnet Entrance Exam
4. Entrance Essay
5. Teacher/Advisor Recommendations
All five categories will be measured and all students in the applicant pool scoring a composite score of an 8.00 or higher will be accepted!

Magnet Student Expectations
Once accepted into the Westlake Magnet Program, annually students will abide by the prescribed course of study for all core academic courses which includes:
1. Pass all courses
2. Earn a minimum grade of an 80%
3. Maintain a minimum cumulative Numeric Grade Average of an 80%.
4. Complete at least one approved
Magnet Pathway.
5. Participate in an academic competition
6. Completing 20 community service hours.

Complete the General Fulton County Schools Magnet Application online. The window opens November 15th and closes January 15th at midnight for all applicants.
