Searching Scholarly (Peer-Reviewed) Journals & Full Text Articles

Peer-Reviewed (refereed or scholarly) journals – Articles written by experts and reviewed by several other experts in the field before the article is published in the journal in order to insure the article’s quality.

On Campus Only

1. From the LRC Webpage, Click on the “Online Resources” link

2. Click on the “EBSCO Host” link

OR

1. From the LRC Webpage, click on the “Library Catalog/Databases” link

2. Click on the “EBSCO” logo

3. Click on the “Academic Libraries” link

4. Select Database(s), click the “Continue” button

5. Check boxes for Full Text and/or Scholarly; search as usual.

Off Campus

1. From the LRC Webpage, click on the “Library Catalog/Databases” link

Login (login information can be found on class syllabus)

2. Click on “Advanced” Search

3. Click on “Databases” tab

4. Click on the link for the database of your choice.

5. Check boxes for Full Text and/or Scholarly; search as usual.
