• ELGT received further funding from CSGNDevelopment Fund for 2011/12
• This was for the delivery and implementation of temporary greenspace projects in Edinburgh.
•
A partnership between the Port of Leith Housing Association, Forth Ports, Edinburgh & LothiansGreenspace Trust, and City of Edinburgh Councilformed to explore how best to facilitate positivechanges through the use of temporarygreenspace.

The proposed site has been identified by the group based on the following:
1. Key location, next to existing community and residents.
2. Visibility – adjacent seen from the Western Harbour Drive bus route andoverlooked by residents on Windrush Drive.
3. Desire lines – a route between local facilities and nearby housing cuts acrossthis site, again bringing people into relationship with the site.
