John SheasbyProfessorJohnSheasby passedawayMarch19,2018. ProfessorSheasby startedatWesternin1970andretiredfromtheMechanicalEngineeringDepartmentin2004.Dr.Sheasby servedasaGroupChairmanintheFacultyofEngineeringfrom1975to1987.HewastheChairoftheMaterialsEngineeringDepartmentfrom1987to1988and1996to1998. Dr.Sheasby laterservedasChairoftheMechanicalandMaterialsEngineeringDepartmentfrom1999to2003.
