French This half term pupils will be revisiting key phrases taught throughout Key Stage 2. This will include the weather (il fait froid & il fait chaud), clothing (un pantalon, un short etc), opinions (J’adore, J’aime etc) and members of the family (mon pere, ma mere, mon frere etc.)

Games - Invasion Games

Invasion Game - are team games in which the purpose is

to invade the opponent's territory while scoring points and keeping

the opposing team's points to a minimum, and all within

a defined time period.

Depending on the weather we will be playing Tag rugby / football

on the filed or hockey / netball on the playground.

Pupils can:

Show confidence in using ball skills in various ways, and can link

these together effectively e.g. dribbling, bouncing, passing

Keep possession of balls during games situations.

Consistently use skills with co-ordination, control and fluency.

History—The Victorians

Pupils can:

Investigate the life of Victorian Britain and identify the differ-ences between this historical period and modern day.

Learn about the industrial revolution and the impact it has had on British history

Understand the living conditions and what life was like for chil-dren in this time

Investigate famous people and inventions from this era; why there were so many and how it still affects life today

Investigate recreational activities of the Victorian era and identi-fy how these are so different to modern day

Identify how the Victorian era ended and the legacy it has left behind
