EXPLANATORY NOTES (The following conditions and explanatory notes should be considered while quoting the Price) Schedule – 1 – Works for Supply and Erection for OHE Work General: 1) Wherever an item of work covers supply of materials and/or erection, such item shall
include all bolts, nuts, locknuts & washer etc. of CORE/RDSO approved make to complete the item of work. No separate payment for fasteners is admissible.
2) Erection of any item of equipment whether supplied by purchaser or contractor will include testing, commissioning and bringing the equipment into operation by the contractor to the satisfaction of the purchaser.
3) Soon after the approval of drawing, the contractor shall assess the quantity of each
material required for the work and submit his assessment, which will be verified and approved by purchaser. Both supply and erection shall be carried out accordingly.
4) All the Electrical items should be as per RDSO/CORE Drawings and specification
Numbers and shall comprise of all parts and accessories listed in the Drawing except where otherwise stated. All OHE fittings should be procured from Railway/RDSO/CORE approved manufacturers only. The contractor will be required to submit all the test certificates of concrete and other OHE/PSI materials.
5) All components & fittings supplied by the contractor shall bear the respective
identification number and a mark to identify the source of supply. In case of insulator, galvanized steel tubes, stainless steel wire rope and conductors, name of manufacturers shall be specified in the „As Erected‟ drawings.
6) Such material as have been issued to the contractor but left behind with him unutilized,
shall be determined after reconciliation with the actual quantum issued vis-à-vis utilized for execution of the work and returned to the depot at no extra cost in the same condition of the material as were issued to the contractor. If the contractor fails to return such materials, the cost of such materials will be recovered at twice the book rate.
7) All tools & plants, jigs, tackles, testing & measuring equipments etc as required for
erection, testing, commissioning shall be arranged & maintained by the contractor at his own cost.
8) No materials, tools & plants, M&Ps shall be supplied by Principal.

Item No. 1: Foot by Foot Survey & Preparation of OHE Pegging Plan including modification & dismantling works The price shall cover on a flat rate basis foot by foot survey and investigation of soil bearing pressure of the section involved and development of OHE pegging plan for conventional/ tramway type regulated OHE(based on the engineering plan & wiring plan to be furnished by purchaser) duly incorporating location number, disposition of location, span, versine, terminations, details of infringements, overlying structure & overhead crossings, signals etc. on the basis of survey report & keeping design aspects in view. The drawing shall be prepared in 1:500 scale in multiples of A4. Details of existing OHE installations shall be incorporated in the plan for a minimum length of 250 mtr., on either side of take off or 250 m beyond the first structure proposed under the present scheme, in the direction of existing wired track. The wind load of the section may be taken as 112.5 Kgf/sqm. Item No. 2: Preparation of Design and Drawing of Overhead Equipment including modification & dismantling works The price shall cover on a flat rate basis development of OHE layout plan on pegging plan with stagger, wire run, location of Anticreep Central, foundation & termination type, location of Cut-ins, Overlaps and their type, Section Insulator etc. & other necessary details like TC, TS etc., preparation of Cross section drawings & Structure erection drawings with dimension of shoulder width & height of bank for each locations, profile drawings for each involved span under overlying structures, detail design & drawings for special steel works, structural support & special OHE as necessary & supply of requisite number of copies of all approved drawings for execution. The price shall also include supply of „completion drawings‟ for all drawings each in two RTFs with 6 copies of coloured print out and 2 sets of editable soft copies covering all drawings. Note on items 1 & 2: All designs, legends, notes on drawings and schedules of materials shall be in English and shall be prepared in the metric system. All design and drawings shall conform to specification RE/OHE/25, ETI/PSI/31 Item No. 3: Concrete for Mast foundation and plinth 3(i) Ordinary Soil / Hard Soil including Rock required chiseling. The prices shall cover excavation, supply and handling of all materials, and accessories, temporary arrangement for excavation, casting concrete, grouting of masts and finishing the top of concrete foundation or anchor blocks. The price also includes dismantling of all connected temporary arrangements, back filling with earth and compacting the same to the required height and width as per drawing to ensure safety of foundation confining the exposed height of foundation block to within 10 cm. and removal of soil. The price shall include cost of cement. Item No. 3(ii): Reinforced Concrete The price shall cover excavation and all reinforced Concrete work for foundations including supply of steel for reinforcement and other materials including bending, binding, laying of the reinforcement, shoring where necessary, casting concrete including frame work where necessary, grouting & finishing the tops of foundation block. Price will also include dismantling of all connected temporary arrangement, back filling as required. The price shall also cover all

concrete work for foundation or anchor block on bridge Piers irrespective of whether they are actually reinforced or not. Nominal reinforcement required for foundation on Black Cotton Soil shall not be paid under item 3(ii) but shall be paid under item 3(i). The price shall include cost of cement.
NOTE FOR ITEM 3(i) & (ii) 1. For design of foundations for traction structures carrying overhead equipment, the
contractor shall determine the type & bearing pressure of soil and adopt the type and economical size of foundation suitable for particular location with the help of approved employment schedule for foundation generally. In case of foundations at locations not covered by the employment schedule, the contractor shall prepare special design & furnish full design calculations justifying the choice of foundation type its dimensions & volume for such foundation and obtain approval of competent authority prior to execution of the same.
2. The price under item – 3 shall be same for any shape or size of concrete blocks including sand cored foundations. In calculation of the individual volume of concrete fraction of cubic meter beyond the third decimal shall be rounded off to the next nearest third decimal.
3. The prices under item - 3 shall apply for concreting of all foundations for masts, gantries,
TTC, Portals, anchor blocks for guy rod, cable trench, trench cover, fencing uprights.
4. For the purposes of computation of volume of concrete under item 3, the volume of steel work embedded in the foundation block shall be ignored.
5. Cost of all concrete will be paid for only under item 3.
6. For purposes of computation of volume of concrete, the volume of each muff for all
masts shall be taken as 0.02 cum. except for masts with balance weight and for each column of portal, each head span mast & 2 or 3 track cantilever masts, and special fabricated masts for which the volume of muff shall be taken on a flat rate basis as 0.08 cum. irrespective of the size and shape of muff.
7. Concrete for foundation shall be normal mix of grade M-10 obtained by mixing cement,
coarse aggregate, fine aggregate and water in accordance with the proportion given vide table-9 of IS: 456 – 2000 including ramming etc. as required shall be done .For grouting, muffing, embedding of structure in foundation and for cable trenches at switching stations, nominal mix of Grade M-15 obtained by mixing materials in proportion indicated in above IS, shall be used. Maximum size of coarse aggregate for M-10 and M-15 grade concrete mixture shall be 40mm and 20 mm respectively. The price shall also include the cube test of the concrete for anchor location, turnout location and for other location to be decided by the Site Engineer. Minimum one cube should be tested for each Kilometer of foundation cast.
8. In case of sand cored foundation, the core hole shall be filled with dried sand after
erection of mast and covered with a layer of bitumen of 80mm thickness, below 30mm from top level of the block. The muff shall be of hemispherical type. Volume of concrete shall include volume of sand and bitumen also. For computation of volume of cement in

sand cored foundation, volume of sand & bitumen used in core hole should be deducted from total volume sand cored foundations shall not be adopted for Portals.
9. The core holes shall have removable covers with edges cemented on foundation
10. The price is also applicable for cost of concrete for embedment of drain pipes/diversion of masonry/earth drain where necessary for casting of foundation
11. Cement for use in foundation should have legible markings, indicating manufacturer‟s name, Type of Cement, Weight of each bag and date of manufacture and registered trade mark if any, and to be procured by the contractor from the authorized dealer.
12. Purchaser‟s engineer or his representative shall certify in writing where use of chisel & hammer or blasting has been necessary and contractor shall arrange for supply of explosives and all tools & plants for blasting operation at his own cost.
13. All tools & plants required for excavation & casting of foundation shall be arranged by the contractor at his cost.
14. It is to be noted that the term „transit‟ includes transit from manufacturers/fabricators site to site of work for all items.
Item No. 4 (i) & (ii): Supply & Manual erection of traction mast/other special masts (BFB/RSJ/B-Series/S-Series etc. as required) with galvanization of 1000 gm/sq meter The price shall include supply and erection of galvanized traction masts, Main Masts of switching station, Mast for LT supply Transformer station, Long super mast (complete set) as per approved design of Railway. The galvanization of mast should be 1000 gm/sqm. For the purpose of payment, the weight of individual traction mast and masts of head span shall be determined for each type on the basis of the payable weights per meter length shown below for standard type. For special type, the purchaser will indicate the payable weight per meter length at the time of approval of design.

Erection: The price shall include cost of manual erection, alignment and setting before grouting of individual mast, main masts of switching station and masts of LT supply of transformer station whether rolled or fabricated and TTC uprights and portal uprights (in case of TTC upright and portal upright not covered in item No. 5).
Item No. 5(i) & (ii): Supply & Erection of TTC/Portals assembly complete with galvanization of 1000 gm/sq meter Supply: The price shall cover supply of TTC with 5.5/8 m. boom/Portal as per RDSO design with galvanization of 1000gm/sqm. For the purpose of payment the weight of individual TTC comprising TTU, TTB, TTK, complete set for each type of TTC & Portal uprights with end pieces, central pieces, splicing angle etc. with galvanization of 1000 gm/Sqm shall be determined for each type of TTC/Portal on the basis of payable weight per meter length per set as per RDSO‟s design. The price shall also include cost of galvanized, bolts, nuts etc. as required as per approved design. Erection: The price shall cover the cost of erection of TTC with 5.5/8 mtr. Booms comprising TTU, TTB, TTK complete set manually or by the help of derrick or crane and for erection of all types of portal structure. Note for Item No. 4 & 5: The price shall also include the cost of painting of location number before providing of number plates on masts/portal uprights, TTU in the manner as directed by the purchaser. The price shall also include the straightening of masts/portal uprights bent during transit and cutting of masts/portal & TTC uprights to suit the site condition. The price shall include painting of setting distance, implantation, play of balance weight & contact height on each support/Mast etc. Item No. 6: Supply of (i) Hard Drawn Grooved Copper contact wire (107 sq.mm) The price shall cover supply of joint less HDGC contact wire (107sq.mm) as per RDSO specification No. ETI/OHE/42(2/92) with latest A&C slips. The items should be procured from approved supplier of CORE, duly inspected by RITES or RDSO, The material shall be supplied in drums as per specified lengths. Item No. 6 (ii): Cadmimun Copper Catenary wire (65 sq.mm) The price shall include supply of 65 sqmm, cadmium copper catenary wire 19/2.10 mm as per RDSO specification No. ETI/OHE/37(12/73) with latest A&C slips. The item should be procured from approved sources of CORE and got inspected by either RITES or RDSO. The material shall be supplied in drums with specified length.

Item No. 7(i) & (ii): Supply and erection of Fabricated Steel work other than mast (SPS) Supply: The price shall cover supply of all fabricated steel work (with galvanization of 1000gm/sqm) other than mast, TTC, Portal Gantries, Main masts under switching post, etc. For example, Extension chair, Back angle, Channel, Drop arm and all other small parts of steel work are SPS and weight as determined by Railway representative as per RDSO weight or ISI weight including fasteners. The weight of black steel only will be reckoned. No increase in weight due to galvanizing or painting or welding or reduction due to Drill, Skew cut etc. shall be effected. Erection: The price shall cover cost of erection of channel and all other small parts steel works and necessary fasteners as determined by Railway representative.

Item No. 8(i) & (ii): Supply and erection of Guy Rod assembly include mast Anchor/Guy rod attachment Supply: The price shall cover supply of Guy rod of various lengths as per RDSO specification No. ETI/OHE/P/5000 with latest A&C slips complete with mast guy rod fitting & guy rod with adjusters and parts grouted in anchor Block. Item No. 19(i) & (ii): Supply & erection of Transverse and Special bond The price shall cover supply of all materials including mild steel flats (40 x 6 mm) fasteners etc. required to provide transverse bonds connecting rails of the same/adjacent tracks at the locations to be specified by the Purchaser. The price shall also cover the supply of all materials including mild steel flat to provide special bonds at a level crossings, foot over/road bridge/protective screen, fencing, bridge, bridge girder etc. for which the location will be indicated by the Purchaser. Item No. 20(i) & (ii): Supply and erection of longitudinal bond The price shall cover supply of all materials including mild steel flats (40 x 6 mm) and fasteners required to provide longitudinal bond connecting rail to rail at the locations to be specified by the Purchaser. The price also covers erection of the bond; it‟s shaping & connection & making holes both on rail & bond. Item No. 21(i) & (ii): Supply and erection of a single earth electrode with earth pit box cover complete The price shall cover supply and erection of an earthing station with a single pipe embedded within the ground by driving or otherwise complete with proactive concrete box & lugs suitable for directly connecting with MS flat of minimum size (40 x 6 mm) and conforming to RDSO‟s drawing No. ETI/OHE/P/7020, mode-B and the code for bonding and earthing for 25 KV A.C. 50 Hz. single phase traction systems “conforming to RDSO‟s code No ETI/OHE/71(11/90) A&C No. 2(3/93) with earth pit box”. Value of earth resistance to be painted over the top of earth pit box as also painting of top cover with yellow paint. The top cover should have proper lifting handle. Item No. 22(i) & (ii): Supply and erection of a section insulator assembly including core insulator excluding cut in insulator The price shall cover supply of all components required for a standard section insulator assembly, special arrangements for supporting the equipment and terminal fittings for conductors and the sectioning insulator (core), runners etc. as required. The cut-in insulator i.e. 9 tonne insulator will be paid separately. The price shall cover also erection and adjustment of all components of section insulator assembly complete with core insulator & cut in insulator droppers, ending cones etc. Item No. 23(i) & (ii): Supply and erection of pull-off arrangement for one OHE. The price shall cover supply of all components required for a pull-off arrangement to pull OHE only, complete with steady arm, contact wire swivel clip and fittings but excluding conductor and solid core 9 tonne insulator. The price shall also cover the erection of all components including solid core insulator, small jumpers and conductors. Item No. 24(i) & (ii): Supply and erection of various types of caution boards (to be supplied as per RDSO specification) The price shall cover supply, painting, lettering and fixing of various types of caution boards under these items and erected as per RDSO‟s specification and/or as per instruction of purchaser‟s engineer. The prices shall also cover for supply and erection of all accessories for all type of boards including bolts, nuts, angles etc. Item No. 25: Supply and erection of sectioning diagram board (Size 4’x2’) The price shall cover supply, painting in multicolor, lettering and fixing of sectioning diagram board of size 4 ft. x 2 ft. made of ply board of 4mm thick sun mica sheet of 1mm cover with terylic sheet secured with aluminium angle beat and with hanging arrangement. Item No. 26, 27: Supply of Bracket & stay Insulator (composite type) suitable for polluted zone The price shall cover supply of different type of insulator under these items. All the insulators will be of composite type.
All materials supplied shall be strictly as per specification mentioned for respective item or Governing RDSO/CORE specification for the item.
All items are to be procured from CORE/RDSO approved manufacturer only and contractor shall produce documentary evidence for the same. All the insulators shall be inspected and tested by authorized representative of RITES at manufacturer‟s premises. The contractor shall intimate in advance for readiness of material for inspection. Item No. 28(i) & (ii): Supply & Erection of 25 KV single pole Isolator 1600 Amp complete with post insulators. Supply: The price shall cover the supply of 25 KV SP Isolator complete with mounting base operating rod, operating rod guides, operating rod isolator arcing horns, bolts & nuts, SPS, number plates and interlock where required from first isolator to second isolator. The price also includes cost of pedestal insulators with clamp and fasteners etc which are required for connecting jumpers. Erection: The price shall cover erection of SP isolator, earthing heel & Post insulators, number plates for connecting jumper wire. The work will have to be carried out under power block whenever necessary. The price shall also cover the connection of earth switch to the earth pit box with all fasteners. This also includes connection of operating tube to isolator operating handle with all fasteners. Item No. 29(i) & (ii): Supply & Erection of 25 KV Double pole Isolator 1600 Amps with earth contact assembly complete in all respect with post / pedestal & other types of insulator & accessories Supply: The price shall cover supply of double pole isolator complete with mounting base, operating rod, operating rod guides and operating rod insulator, post insulators and integral locks of approved make required for operation of the Isolator. The price shall also cover supply of number plates of approved design, SPS, bolts and nuts for support of operating rods on gantries/masts and to support jumper and jumper connectors. Erection: The price shall cover erection and adjustment of Double pole isolator with all components, operating rod insulator, post insulators, number plate, integral locks with suitable fasteners including erection of aluminium bus-bars and bus connectors. Item No. 30: Supply and erection of Key box for isolator etc. Supply: The price shall cover fabrication, supply & erection of a wooden key box of size 1.5 ft. x 1 ft. x 3 inches with suitable transparent front. The key box should be wall mounted type, Suitable hangers to be provided within the box for hanging keys there from. The locking arrangement should be provided for the key box. The locking arrangement should be provided for the key box. The inside face of the key box should be duly varnished/painted so as to make it free vernum, white ant, etc. The fixing of the key box on the wall also forms scope of work.

Item No. 31(i) & (ii): Supply & Erection 25 KV Post Insulator. Supply: The price is applicable to the provision of a 25 KV post insulator to support copper or aluminum jumper/ bus bars .The price shall cover supply of all components and fittings/angle from (outrigger) to support the jumpers and post insulator but shall excluding supply of small parts steel works with bolts and nuts etc., if any. Erection: The price shall cover erection of all components required for the assembly, including post insulator but excluding small parts steel works with bolts and nuts etc., if any. Item No. 32(i) & (ii): Supply & Erection of earth bus of MS flat size 50 mm x 6 mm
The price shall cover supply and erection of all materials including 50 mm x 6mm mild steel flats for providing earth bus. The price shall also cover erection of earth bus either buried at depth of 300 mm below ground level painted with 2 coats of red oxide zinc chromate primer and 2 finishing coats of bitumen or fixed on wooden gutties on walls .It shall include connecting the earth bus to earth electrodes and to various floor-or-wall-mounted equipment‟s or structures to be earthed and also connections to non-track-circuited rails, wherever required. It shall also cover the cost of making recesses in concrete foundation blocks for floor or cubicles and covering them up .The connection of earthy strips to each other shall be made either by riveting or by welding .The connection of earth strips to various equipment, structures or fencing post shall be made with G.I. bolts and nuts and spring washers/locknuts. Item No. 33(i) & (ii): Supply and erection of 25 KV Feeder wire 37/2.25 mm, 150 sq mm copper. The price shall cover supply of stranded copper conductor for cross feeder (37 / 2.25 mm. 150 sq. mm ) made of a copper bare, hard drawn conductor of size (37 /2.25 mm 150 sq. mm). The price shall include the cost of suspension assembly but shall not include termination (which will be paid for under item No 12. The price shall not include small parts steel works, complete with bolts, nuts etc. if any . The price shall also cover on a flat rate basis, the cost of supply of splices to the extent required and erection of the complete copper feeder. Item No. 34(a) (i) & (ii): Supply & erection of termination arrangement of feeder The price shall cover supply of all materials required for the termination of 25 KV feeder copper wire (37 x 2.25 mm) including appropriate mast anchor fittings (3231), adjuster, (5020-2) 18 mm single clevis (5040) double clevis (3010) feeder ending clamp (1130) and other component as necessary but excluding 9 Tonne insulator assembly. The price of 9 tonne insulator assembly will be paid under Item No. 15. Erection shall include all components including 9 tonne insulator. Item No. 35: Supply & Erection of Anti theft charging with 2 KVA Transformer The cost includes provisioning of a anti theft transformer 220V/2.2KV of capacity 2KVA including control panel with indication board and audible alarm. The control board should have a MCB of suitable rating with rewireable fuse. Item No. 36: Supply & Erection of additional fitting at Overlap, Turnouts, Overlap & Diamond Crossings for extra work on Item No. 10 The price shall cover on flat rate basis supply of additional components and fittings required at turnout, crossings or over-laps (insulated or un insulated) including knuckle or crossing equipment, or a diamond crossing at a turnout, over-laps or neutral section. The price shall cover erection of all materials including jumper wire, and all adjustments required at turnouts, crossing, overlaps and neutral sections. The price shall not include extra bracket assemblies, overhead equipment, and termination of overhead equipment and cut-in-insulators in the case of insulated overlap and neutral section. A cross over shall be paid as 2 off. Half overlap used for changing from regulated to unregulated and vice versa shall be paid as one off. Item No. 37: Final Adjustments of OHE after Tower Wagon checking: The price shall cover cost of thorough checking of erected OHE at each point jointly with customer & Railway representative. Each & every point of OHE including suspension, clamping, tightening point will be checked by Tower Wagon for smooth & sparkless current collection. Any defect, deficiency, maladjustment has to be rectified. Any defective material identified during such joint check has to be replaced with proper one. As regards method of connection, size of material and adequacy of tightness etc. the opinion of Railway representative will be final. Necessary coordination with concerned Railway division for arranging Tower Wagon checking shall be done by the contractor but Tower Wagon hire charge to be paid to Railway will be borne by the employer. Item No. 38(i) & (ii): Supply & erection of 65 Sq.mm Insulated cadmium copper catenary wire The price shall include supply and erection of 65 sq.mm insulated cadmium copper catenary wire including splicing at both ends as per approved design. The item should be get inspected by RITES and materials should be as per latest specification of RDSO. Item No. 39: Preparation of Station Working Rule diagram. The price shall cover preparation of diagram based on signal aspect & station working rule. 6 copies of the diagram as also RTFs are to be submitted.

Item No. 40(i) & (ii): Supply and erection of earthing heel for isolator etc The price shall be payable as extra for supply & erection of above component in an Isolator connection which shall be such that with opening out of the Isolator the concerned section gets earthed. The prices shall not include supply & erection of copper strip of 25X3 mm connecting the earthing heel & mast/structure which shall be covered under separate item. Item No. 41: Supply and erection of (130 sq mm) Large Span wire Supply: The price shall cover, on a flat rate basis, the supply of all components and fittings required, i.e. Mast fittings (3231), Clevis fitting (18 mm Single), 9 Tonne Adjuster, cutting insulator , anchor double strap & large span wire ending clamp (part no.-1140), etc for span wire. Item No. 42: Supply & erection of Protective screen The price shall cover supply & erection of protective screens with 25000 V caution boards on over line structures like ROBs, FOBs electrified track etc as applicable. Item No. 43(i) & (ii): Supply, erection, testing & commissioning of 25 KV, 1600A outdoor type vacuum Circuit Breaker type VSE 5/20 as per RDSO specification TI/SPC/PSI/CB/00 with A&C slip no. 1 to 4 or latest The price shall cover supply & erection of 25 KV Vacuum type Circuit Breaker complete with control mechanism steel supporting frame work, operating rod and terminal connector etc. The price for erection shall include alignment and grouting on its foundation block and mounting of accessories and earthing. The price shall also cover supply & erection of enamalled number plates. The price shall also cover supply of vacuum bottle. All necessary tools, equipments, Instruments including Power supply required for carrying out necessary checks, tests shall be arranged by the Contractor. The commissioning of the equipment shall be done as per norms and number of operations shall be satisfaction of user. Item No. 44(i) & (ii): Supply, erection, testing & commissioning of 25 KV Control Panel with all protective relays & equipment RDSO Specification – ETI/PSI/65(1/97) A & C Slip No. 1 (3/99) & 2 (4/02) The price shall cover supply & erection of a Control Panel of suitable size for 25 KV circuit breaker complete with mild steel housing, relays internal wiring with meters, Indication Lamps, Mimic diagram at the front & cable entry at the bottom. The cable entry shall have cable gland of suitable size. The panel shall be bolted at the bottom with provision of single leaf door on front & back with provision of locking facility. All wiring shall have permanent identification ferrules cables connecting and tags, colour code for cables connecting various equipments,

meters, contacts, relays etc. shall be used. The colour of the mimic diagram and switches etc. on the front panel shall match with the background of the panel. Item No. 45(i) & (ii): Supply, erection, testing & commissioning of 25 KV Current Transformer (oil filled) (1000/500/5A-1A) RDSO Specification No. ETI/PSI/90(6/95) Rev-4 (June 03) or latest The price shall cover supply & erection of 25 KV current transformer of the type specified complete with all fittings and accessories including terminal connectors, if any, and fixing bolts. The price for supply & erection shall also include proper alignment of the equipment, necessary tools, equipments, Instruments as required for carrying out erection, tests. Item No. 46(i) & (ii): Supply, erection, testing & commissioning of 25 KV Potential Transformers type-I, II (oil filled) RDSO letter No. TI/SPC/PSI/PIs/09/92 (Mar 03) The price shall cover supply & erection of 25 KV potential transformer type-I, II complete with all fittings and accessories as per relevant specifications including terminal connectors and fixing bolts. The price for erection shall include proper alignment of the transformer in position. The price shall also cover the supply and erection of fixing bolts. The cost of terminal connection as also connection to the main bus is also to be including in the cost. The price shall not include the cost of any small parts steel works. Item No. 47(i) & (ii): Supply & erection of Terminal Board in control cubicle The price shall cover supply & erection of a wall mounted terminal board with six numbers of two-way terminal blocks for connecting the cables from the outdoor equipment of a switching station as per Railway Drawing Specification No. ETI/PSI/501. Item No. 48(i) & (ii): Supply & erection of Structure Bond of MS flat size 50 mm x 6 mm The price shall cover supply of all materials including mild steel flat (40 mm x 6 mm) required to provide a structure bond generally conforming to RDSO drawing No. ETI/OHE/P/7000 with latest A&C slips connecting a traction mast or structure to the nearest non-track circuited rail, or earth electrode, including all fastenings at both ends like bolts, nuts, spring washers & flat washers. The price shall include shaping and drilling of the bond and rail and erection of all materials including the bond. The price shall also include provision of heat shrinkable PVC sleeve for structure bond under track-circuited rail. This would also cover connection to earthing terminals of equipments like L.T. transformers with structures and then rails as per approved drawing. Item No. 49(i) & (ii): Supply & erection of copper strip size (25 mm x 3 mm) for equipment earthing The price shall cover supply and erection of 25 mm x 3 mm copper strips to connect the earth terminal of equipment like P.T , lightning arrestors, L.T. supply Transformer to the main masts of the gantries on which these are mounted. The price shall cover all fasteners required for fixing the copper strips along any structure member of the Gantry.

Item No. 50(a) (i) & (ii): Supply & erection of cables (a) For Control and Indication (7 Core x 2.5 Sq.mm) Copper The price shall cover supply, erection and connecting up of PVC insulated copper cables for control and indication from the circuit breakers to the terminal board. The price shall include supply & erection of terminal connectors at both ends, if required and conduits where necessary. (b) For Catenary Indication (2 Core x 2.5 Sq.mm) Copper The price shall cover supply, erection and connecting up of PVC insulated copper cables foe catenary indications, between Potential transformers type-I and the terminal board inside the control cubicle. The price shall include supply & erection of terminal connectors at both ends, if required and conduits to be embedded between the steel work based and the cubicle trench and shall include all fastenings on mast and structural members to support them. Item No. 51: Supply & erection of various types of enamalled boards/name plate etc. The price shall cover supply and erection of 25 KV caution board as per RDSO specification and as per instruction of purchaser‟s engineer. The enamalled name plate equipments including such as PT, CT, LA etc. which may shall not be supplied with the respective equipments. Schedule – 2 - Extra Rate for the Work under Power Block Item No. 1: Erection of Traction Mast under Power Block The price shall include erection of traction masts of the modification works at Track Hopper Line and Pre-tippling line.
The price also includes cost of erection, alignment and setting before grouting of individual mast, main masts whether rolled or fabricated. Item No. 4: Erection of Bracket Assembly under Power Block The price shall also cover erections of single bracket assembly with all components including insulators, small parts steel works and dropper wires duly fabricated at the contractors cost on masts/structures. The tenderer to please note that if considerable length of track is in curve, the requirement of steel tubes will be more than 3 meters approx. The price shall also include supply of fasteners GI/SS etc. ant other items required for single bracket assembly is to be supplied by the contractor. Item No. 5: Erection of Guy Rod assembly under Power Block The price shall cover erection of guy rod assembly, mast anchor/guy rod attachment of various length with fittings and components with suitable fasteners as per approved drawings and specifications. Note: Supply and erection of guy rod assembly including mast anchor/guy rod attachment at anti creep wire will also be paid under this item. Item No. 6: Erection of Termination of Single OHE under Power Block The price shall cover supply of all materials required for the termination of single OHE conductor except 9 tonne insulator. Item No. 9: Erection of Section of Insulator under Power Block The cut-in insulator i.e. 9 tonne insulator will be paid separately. Item No. 20: Dismantling of 9 tonne Insulator under Power Block The price shall include the cost of dismantling of 9-Tonne Insulator of work during power block. Item no. 23: Splicing & extension of anchored overhead equipment The price shall include cost of supply of catenary Splice (Id No.1090) & Contact Splice (Id No.1081-1).Complete in all respect .Erection work in walls re-alignment of terminating OHE after removal of insulator & end fittings and connecting with new OHE (Contact & Catenary).This also includes provision of new droppers as require followed by final adjustment of involve span .Cost of dropper shall be cover under OHE. Item No. 24: Slewing of OHE The price shall cover for slewing of OHE from one position to other or temporary slewing or lowering of erected OHE adjusted/readjusted to ground for special work including crane working followed by restoration and readjustment of the equipment(s) after completion of special work. The price shall be on per span or part thereof including anchoring span. Item No. 25: Transfer of OHE The price shall cover transfer of overhead equipment to a bracket assembly on a new mast or support from existing bracket assembly and dismantling of the erected bracket assembly from the old mast or support and consequent adjustment to overhead equipment and consequent adjustment to OHE, including replacing of droppers, adjustment of bracket etc.

Schedule – 3 – Provision of Oliver G HX & Security Item No. 1: Oliver G HX The price shall cover the cost of supply & provisioning of OLIVER GH X The Oliver GH X should conform to RDSO specification no TI/SPC/OHE/OLIVER/0050 or latest. However the item should have additional features like accelerometer sensor of bandwidth 150 Hz & sampling frequency 10khz to record the vibration of the loco, reporting software to generate spark report & acceleration report, high speed industrial camera with progressive scan upto 60fps etc. Item No. 2: Manning & Security For safety of erected OHE the responsibility lies on the contractor. However the deployment of security staff is to be made by the contractor which will be accounted against this item. Sufficient security personnel both with arms and without arms to be posted throughout day & night so that danger/damage to erected equipment is prevented. It is reiterated that all protection is to be adopted to safeguard the new OHE till it is commissioned & handed over.
