• NJROTC is not about recruitment into the military; NJROTC is about citizenship, self discipline and Leadership building
• NJROTC is also about competition, teamwork, and having FUN– Rifle Team: Advance skills in shooting air rifles and learning new techniques
– Drill Team: Learn standard drill movements as well as more advanced fancy drill
– Color Guard: Present the Colors at home games and out in the community
– Orienteering Team: Learning land navigation to find your way through the woods with only a compass
– Academic Team: Learn military science topics and compete in academic meets
– Sail Team: Attend a week long sail camp and advance their skills in sailing throughout the year
