3D Scanning and Modeling Services

We provide comprehensive as-built 3D data capture through laser scanning. The resulting point cloud is a virtual re-creation of your entire project and has a variety of uses including measurements and 3D BIM creation. We will work with you to determine the level of detail necessary to fit your project schedule and budget. We offer scalable deliverables to meet your project needs ranging from a complete point cloud, 3D Sketchup, Revit model, 2D drawings and more. A complete scan offers many advantages over traditional workflows including the ability to reference the point cloud or 3D models to take measurements throughout the entire duration of the project. In addition, full color, high-resolution 360-degree photographs allow for virtual site visits and the ability to take additional measurements at any time without the need for specialized software or return visits to the site.

Laser scanning provides a spatially accurate representation of existing conditions for use in clash detection and mechanical/electrical routing. Our scans provide a detailed 3D map of all existing structures and equipment allowing for precise routing before site works begins. Utilizing laser scan data can reduce change orders, schedule delays, and construction delays due to unforeseen existing conditions. In addition, this allows contractors to pre-fabricate more items prior to going into the field.

In addition to interior scans, our laser scanning services are capable of producing full-color scans outdoor as well. With a 340 meter range, an entire site can be captured with 1-2 mm accuracy. If detailed survey work is required, we can work with survey teams to ensure spatially accurate results that meet all necessary requirements.
