Well, here we are together in our final month of the school year. June is a month packed full of year-end activities and events including: Bring A Friend To Blyth Day, Wonderland Field Trip, Sports Day, Celebrate Each Grade Day, Student Surveys, and Student and Teacher Awards. Amidst all of these activities, our teachers are actively supporting each student in completing their Independent Study Projects and preparing for their final examinations. During these last few weeks of the school year, I wish each student the greatest success.

Bring A Friend To Blyth Academy London Day

Friends of our students were invited into our campus to live the life of a Blyth Academy London student for a day. It was a great experience for everyone! Thank you to all of our students who made everyone feel welcomed and included.

Special Message from our Guidance Counsellor:

With only 2 weeks left of school, we are diligently meeting with returning students to complete their course selection for the upcoming 2019-2020 school year. All students, with the exception of a few have met with me to talk about their courses for next year. They would have been given a copy of their updated credit counselling summary, with a list of suggested courses for the upcoming year. Please have the course selection form (sent earlier in an email with the course description package) signed and returned before the last day of school. Students will be informed of their classes for term 1, and a rough look at their classes for the remainder of the year in late August. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me. We will be here throughout the summer as well if you wish to have a face-to-face meeting.

The results for the OSSLT (Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test) have been mailed out to families this week, so you should be receiving this in the mail in the next week. A copy will be held in the student’s Ontario Student record and will be updated on their transcript. If you do not get your child’s results in the next 2 weeks, please contact me and I can send another copy home.

The end of year Wonderland trip was a great success. Myself and Ms. AJ want to thank all of the students for acting with such maturity and for their patience during the day. We are so impressed with all of you, and it was our pleasure to accompany you on this trip.

Congratulations Physics team for the hard work and the exceptional teamwork skills that you demonstrated in Thames Valley Science and Engineering Fair. With high cooperation and dedication, you all produced and presented extraordinary work that you should be all proud of. Despite some challenges, you were able to impress lots of people including experienced judges due to your determination and positivity. You showed up at that fair as tough and confident people and left it even tougher. Keep believing in yourselves and you will be definitely UNSTOPPABLE!! It was a remarkable day for our 2019 Graduation ceremony at the Four Points by Sheraton. Thank you to all of our Blyth Academy London staff for their time, energy, and passion in making this day a special one for our graduates. Congratulations to our graduates and their families!
