Fort Myers Technical College (FMTC) was established in 1967 and is part of The School District of Lee County. Fort Myers Tech features a caring and skilled staff of program instructors in a safe learning environment.
Fort Myers Tech offers many diverse technical and industrial programs. Students may receive part-time or full-time job assistance while attending FMTC.

MISSION: The mission of Fort Myers Technical College is to provide high quality career and technical training, in order to prepare students for current and emerging industries, delivered by a professional and caring staff in a positive learning environment.
VISION: All students enrolled in vocational/technical programs will obtain workforce credentials through certificate programs and, where applicable, industry certification and/or licensure.

Financial aid is available. No fee for high school students. The tuition rate is set by the state legislature and is typically adjusted annually. Call FMTC for this year’s rate and applicable lab fee.
