This session is designed for parents sending their first child

to college. Learn how to facilitate communication between

parents and students.

Research has shown that it takes 6-9 months to adjust to life on campus. During this period students feel increased personal independence and form the habits and relationships they will carry throughout their college careers, therefore it is imperative that students become involved on campus.

Any amount of times you want to talk to your student is fine. As long as you and your

student agree.
