Time ZoneBerkeley is located in the Pacific Standard Time Zone . We observe Daylight Savings Time from March through late October/early November .

SmokingSmoking is prohibited on public transportation and inside public buildings, including bars and restaurants, and within 20 feet of any entrance or exit to a public building . Smoking is also prohibited within 20 feet of any bus stop .

California Memorial Stadium Constructed and completed in 1923, it is the home of the California Golden Bears football team. Designed by John Galen Howard and constructe d in less than one year, the stadium seats 76,000 and is dedicated to University students who lost their lives in WWI.
