Thrapston Dental Centre was originally founded in 2012, and we have worked closely within the local community and pride ourselves on providing the highest quality of care possible to our patients.

At Thrapston Dental Centre Dr Martyn Hayward is our highly skilled General and Implant dentist.

Martyn graduated from the University of Newcastle in 1992 & is the principal dentist for both Thrapston Dental Centre & Townley House Dental Practice in Oundle.

His extensive experience in Implant Dentistry and full mouth rehabilitation allows him to treat basic to complex cases including bone grafting. Martyn has been placing Dental Implants since 2004 and has placed over 1000 implants in this time, making him one of the most recognized and established dentists in the area.

He is also one of only a few dentists who can offer treatment planning with our 3D CBCT x ray scanner. This can avoid bone grafting and improve healing times. Clients can be referred by their own dentist or self-refer by contacting our friendly team.

His training and experience also allow him to offer a variety of treatments including general, restorative & cosmetic treatments.

Martyn brings to Thrapston Dental Centre remarkable passion and enthusiasm for dentistry making him an asset to our team. Patients regularly compliment him for his outstanding patient care, reassuring and positive approach.

Dr. Nicola MarrDentistGDC Number: 71929BDS Sheffield 1996

At Thrapston Dental Centre Nicola is a valued member of our team providing all types of dentistry from general, cosmetic, restorative, tooth whitening & facial aesthetics. Nicola also has a special interest in Orthodontics and has studied at Warwick university. Nicola can offer our clients many different types orthodontic treatments including Conventional, Damon braces, Inman Aligners, Invisalign.

In 2008 she completed an advanced course in contemporary aesthetic and restorative dentistry in with Prof Dominic Hassall. In 2009, she was part of the first group of students in the UK to complete the Florida based American Dawson Academy core through to advanced programs & has allowed Nicola to pursue her interest in Cosmetic Dentistry.

In addition to this Nicola has completed facial aesthetic training with the Royal College of Surgeons allowing her to provide our clients with anti-wrinkle correction treatments & Periodontal (Gum) training with the president of the British Society of Periodontology. She is an active member of the British Society of Craniomandibular disorders, this has had great success in the treatment of grinding, clenching, headaches and migraines in our practice.

The practice is situated in the heart of Thrapston, next to The Plaza. This is a comfortable and accessible by car from Bridge Street or from the A605 sign posted Thrapston onto Oundle Road, turn right onto High Street and continue until you find us on the right.

The most convenient car parking facilities are the street parking spaces opposite our practice. There is provision for disabled parking by appointment outside the surgery. This should be booked at the same time as your appointment.
