PRAYER GUIDE - October 4, 2020

WELCOME!

Today, we are excited to welcome back Pastor Gerrit and

Tanna Besteman as they return from a 3 month sabbatical. We

trust that this time away was refreshing, and we look forward to

Pastor Gerrit’s return to ministry here among the people of God

at BCRC.

We are also blessed to welcome Dylan Kern and his wife,

Bethany. They moved to Bradenton last week, and we are

grateful to the Lord for leading them to join us here at BCRC.

We anticipate many years of fruitful ministry in the days ahead.

And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. Acts 2:42

NOTE: For our online bulletin, we have removed

the names from our prayer guide to protect our

members’ privacy. Please contact the office with

be thankful for and to celebrate! On

facility. That evening, there will be gala event

that will celebrate our 60th Year Anniversary AND the opening

of our new complex and fields.

Ushers Needed: BCRC is looking for men, women and young

adults to be ushers before and after the morning service. You

must be available ½ hour before the service to help with

seating and then to help dismiss the congregation. Please call

the church office if interested.

Phase 3 Reopening: We are now in Phase 3 of reopening and

more people are attending church and our other educational

ministries. We need to continue to be vigilant and not let our

guard down during this covid19 pandemic. Please stay home

if you don’t feel well. Face masks are still recommended and

please continue to social distance. We need to be sensitive

and respectful of others in our church family. Thank you for

your cooperation and prayers as we continue to navigate

through these times.

YOUNG ADULT/COLLEGE STUDENT MINISTRY: BCRC is blessed

with 21 young adults (ages 18-21) in our congregation. Twice a

year we like to remember and encourage these young people

(whether they have stayed local to work and go to college, or

live away from home) and remind them that they are an

important part of our congregation. Please consider being a

part of this ministry by writing a short note. There will be a table

in the breezeway with blank note cards available for pick up

and list of names. Cards are also available in the office. Basket

provided for completed cards. Cards will be collected on

October 4, 11 and 18. Questions? Contact, Kathy Ritsema.
