DIRECTOR FOR A DAY! It's summer and time for our Volunteer Choir to sing. It is a long time summer tradition at The Church of the Straits and folks look forward to it.   We need someone to direct the choir at each of the morning services.  It can be the same person at both services or someone different.  You can sign up week by week.  It is not a commitment for the whole summer.  Choose a hymn, give it to the organist/pianist for that Sunday, turn it in to the office.  On Sunday, announce the hymn and invite folks to come up and sing.  Direct the choir and have fun. There is a sign-up sheet in Fellowship Hall.  Questions?  Ask Gussie Williams.

Directions to the Picnic!Take Central Avenue to the west through town, under the bridge, past the high school. The drive is just past Doc’s Plumbing on the left, before the large horse pasture.
