Mr. Meyer’s Class Rules

• I expect each student to;• treat each other and the teacher with RESPECT at all times

• arrive to class in uniform, on time, and prepared

• complete assignments ON TIME and correctly

• PARTICIPATE in class discussions

• use class time EFFECTIVELY

• use APPROPRIATE language in class

• keep a POSITIVE attitude

• FOLLOW CLASS INSTRUCTIONS

• raise their hands EVERY TIME BEFORE SPEAKING

• NOT to bring food or drinks to class (EXCEPTION: water bottles)

• Lates• I follow the St. Benedict model for lates as follows:• 3 Lates – Detention• 5 Lates – Call Home and Detention• 10 Lates – Call home and Involvement of Administration

• Assignments• Students are expected to hand-in assignments on the DUE

DATE. If you are absent on the due date, it is expected you will hand in the assignment on the first day you return. If it is not handed in upon return, it will be marked as an incomplete. For test dates, if a student misses a test due to illness, it is expected they will write the test upon return to class.
