Pedagogical modelThe Academic Council of UTEC has been oriented to continue to strengthen the development of its pedago-gical model in the field of technological higher educa-tion, articulating the teaching and learning processes with applied research, deep inter-connection with the regional ecosystems, and innovation.

One of the key aspects of UTEC's objectives is to have an active role in the technological and productive development of the rural parts of the country, to effectively meet the demands and needs of Uruguay in the 21st century.
