Core Modules:• Film Analysis

• You will look at the history and development of screen media, as well as how society and scholars have sought to understand the content, industry, and audiences of popular media.

Introduces the theory and practice of screen media, including film, television, video games, online and transmedia content.

In the past year Film & Screen Studies staff have presented papers at the Fan Studies Network conference, the Women’s Film and TV History conference, the American Popular Culture Association’s annual conference, and the Cine-Excess conference and festival.

• As the Cult Film Club we also host monthly screenings at the local cinema.

• Students are encouraged to get involved with programming and running these events.
