• According to the time to everybody

- Good morning! Good afternoon! Good evening!

Hand shaking

• It is a polite and nice way to greet anybody

• In case of ladies/older people, please wait tillshe/he indicates the hand shaking

• It is impolite to shake hands in gloves

Be in time!

• In Hungary we are used to the exact timing

• Lectures begins at 8 o’clock!!!!

• Exactly at 8.00

• We are sorry …

• To be in late is very impolite!

• Time is important also for those people, who are waiting for you

• Please dont do it!

During study• Please listen to the lecturer

• Please mute your phone

• Please avoide to eat during the lectures, seminars (The teacher willbe hungry as well …)

Be polite!• People in Hungary are very polite and we are used to it.

• Please open the door infront of girls/women/old people.

• Let them ahead before yourself!

Traffic• Road is for cars, bikes, buses and trucks

• Pedestrian uses the pedestrian paths and the zebra to cross the road

• In case there is a traffic light: Red – stop, Yellow – wait, Green – go!

Using the rooms

• Please keep your room, and classroom any any common place clean and proper

• Also the bathroom and the kitchen! (Nobody needs bugs)

• You need to take the rubbish to the dustbin everywhere!

• Hungary uses selective dustbins. Please be aware the type of rubbish (paper/plastic/glass/metal and rest)

What does it mean?

It expresses the idea that all should be able to live their lives in the manner they want to, meanwhile

all have to be tolerant with the other’s life!
