Vermont State Association. We hope that you have a great time and enjoy yourselves in Vermont.

Welcome!
The RKMC Vermont State Association welcomes you to Vermont. We hope you are able to enjoy many of our planned rides and events that are offered while you are here. Please visit the concierge’s area for more information about self-guided rides, other areas of local interest, or any questions you may have.
Vermont has many unique areas to visit including mini breweries, wineries, antique shops, craft shops, beautiful lakes, waterfalls and rivers. Enjoy rides through Vermont’s mountainous areas.
Our events include a hospitality room which will be open Wednesday and Thursday from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm. It will also be open on Friday from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm. There will be a 90 mile ride to the Pittsford Fire Academy for the Blessing of the Bikes. We will line up on Thursday, 11:30 am and leave at 12:30 pm. Please join us after the ride, starting at 6:00 pm for the “Welcome to the Convention” BBQ.
We are sponsoring three escorted rides on Friday, August 16th. Sign up for the Vermont Teddy Bear Ride at the table next to the registration area. The lineup for the Vermont Teddy Bear Ride starts at 9:00 am, kickstands up shortly before 10:00 am. This is a no cost ride; lunch and return are on your own. Another ride to Cold Hollow Cider Mill lines up at 9:00 am in a separate area at the hotel, kickstands up at 10:00 am. This prepaid ride includes a bag lunch. Pick up your sign up menu for your meal preferences at registration, and leave them in the box provided on Thursday before 8:00 pm. You must return menu completed if you want your meal. The third ride is approximately 30 miles to Devil’s Bowl Speedway. For a $10.00 donation to the Bone Marrow Program, you will have free admission to the stock car races and we will be allowed to take laps around the track upon our arrival. Line up at the hotel at 5:00 pm, kickstands up at 6:00 pm. All rides are return on your own.
On Saturday, August 17th, The Annual Business Meeting will commence promptly at 8:00 am. The Convention Banquet will begin with cocktails at 5:00 pm; dinner will start promptly at 6:00 pm.
On Sunday, a Farewell Breakfast will be held from 6:00 am to 10:00 am.We hope you enjoy this conference and take the opportunity to return to Vermont and see more of ourbeautiful state.

VT Teddy Bear Co. Ride: An escorted ride (approx.) 70 miles to the home of the VT Teddy Bear Co., inShelburne, VT. Lunch on your own. Line up at 9:00 am, kickstands up at 10:00 am. Sign up for factory tour(1:15 or 1:45) at Convention Information/Concierge (no charge)
Cold Hollow Cider Mill Ride: An escorted ride (approx.) 80 miles to the Cold Hollow Cider Mill in Waterbury,VT with lunch stop at Wilkins Harley Davidson, So. Barre, VT. See how apple cider is made. Includes a baglunch (delivered to Wilkins HD) – must be ordered at convention registration. Line up at 9:00am, kickstandsup at 10:00am. ($20.00 per person)
Devil’s Bowl Speedway Ride: An escorted ride using the Fire Apparatus from the various towns we passthrough as our escort. The ride is (approx.) 30 miles. For a $10.00 donation to the Bone Marrow DonorProgram, you will have free admission to the stock car races and we will be allowed to take laps around thetrack in front of the crowd upon our arrival. Line up at 5:00pm, kickstands up at 6:00pm. Sign up at BoneMarrow Donor Program table during vendor hours.
