PARISH-WIDE SECURITY AND SAFETY COMMITTEE In keeping with Archdiocese guidelines relative to Security and Safety, I have directed the formation of a parish wide (Church and School) security and safety committee. The purpose of the committee is to proactively identify issues and stand in readiness for response to issues and incidents. I have tasked our Pastoral Council with the important responsibility. As such, I have asked Parishioner and Pastoral Council member Dave Bergsma to chair this new committee. Dave has almost 40 years of security and safety leadership experience. He is the Director of Public Safety at the Grand Geneva Resort where he oversees security, safety and general liability for a 1000 person organization. I trust in Dave’s leadership ability to professionally lead this important effort. Dave will soon form the committee by parish and school wide invitation. We are blessed to have many diverse talents in our parish community who I know can contribute worthily in this manner. If you have experience (e.g.. police, military, medical, etc.) and would like to be part of this committee, please contact Dave.

Blessings. Father Mark
