Participation in Exams

The following applies generally:

• After the deadline run out (starting from 30.11.) exam registration is consideredas obligatory; this means:

• You are obliged to participate in the respective exams• Withdrawal is allowed by application with justified reason, only• The module needs to be finished (within the valid number of exam trials)

• Usually, there are two trials per semester:• First trial at the end or shortly after lecture period• First re-take until the second week of the next lecture period (at the latest)

• Exam dates are available on „My exams“. In case of missing exam dates ordiscrepancies please get in contact with the exam office.

Participation in Exams

The most important rules are:

1. Inform in time and regularly about exam dates and results in your Friedolin under„my exams“ – beeing absent will be assessed as failed.

2. Submit expositions (like protocolls, papers to be written at home etc.) in time –late submission will be also assessed as failed.

3. Do not take an exam if you are sick – better apply to withdraw before the examtakes place! To sit in an exam alsways declares your ability to take the exam – nomatter if you are able or not. The result of a taken exam is always valid.

4. Stick to the deadlines given in your exam regulations (ER):

• Take the first trial of your exams of the 1st year: until the end of the 3rd subject related semester

• Apply for the first trial of your Thesis:until the end of the 6th subject related semester
