Mobile Workstations

In order to be considered a mobile work station a notebook must contain several key technologies, such as;

• Support for the latest and most powerful desktop Intel and AMD processors.• Support for the fastest and most efficient memory technologies (DDR2 and Dual

Channel Memory)• A crisp, high resolution screen of 1280x1024 or greater• Ability to use two internal hard drives • Support for the fastest I/O connectivity technologies such as Firewire and USB2.0• All workstations must be upgradeable/serviceable in the key areas of CPUs,

memory, optical and hard drives and Video processors*, using standard industry components.

The Mobile workstation is designed for maximum performance and the most demanding users. CAD/CAM designers, engineers, architects and designers who must frequently travel, yet need access to powerful computing are the core target for Mobile workstations.

For the vast majority of users the Desktop Replacement Notebook from Eurocom is the best combination of value and performance. Usually our Desktop Replacement systems are slightly slower/smaller versions of our Mobile Workstations. These systems are designed with 95% of users in mind, with the greatest number of options and configurations available the Desktop Replacement is a viable/cost effective solution for Small or Home offices, (SOHO) business users, students and home computer enthusiasts.
