Dear member Welcome to the DXC Pension Plan – LPC Section As you may remember, the Company wrote to you in 2020 to let you know about plans to merge the London Processing Centre (LPC) Pension Scheme with another of its pension schemes, the CSC Computer Sciences Ltd 2005 Pension Scheme, to become the DXC Pension Plan*. The merger will help to simplify the Company’s pension arrangements and maximise the efficiencies of running all the schemes. The merger was completed on 26 March 2021, so I am writing to you now as the Chairman of the Trustee of your new pension scheme to welcome you as a member. I and my fellow Trustee Directors (who are named in the box below) have a legal duty to act in the best interests of all the members – and that now includes those in the LPC Section. We benefit from a great depth of experience in Trustee matters, as well as the support of a fantastic team of professional advisers. We believe it’s important that members understand how their pension is managed – and who makes the decisions – so we issue regular member communications to keep you updated. We hope you enjoy your future membership of the DXC Pension Plan. Best wishes Mark Greenhalgh Chairman of the Trustee * The official name change from CSC Computer Sciences Ltd 2005 Pension Scheme to DXC Pension Plan is expected to take place later this year, and we will write to you when it does. Until then, everything in this announcement about data protection (see overleaf) remains applicable, unless and until you are notified of a change, regardless of the name of the Scheme. Your new Trustee Your Trustee Board is made up of the following individuals: Mark Greenhalgh – Chairman Barry Orr – appointed by the Company Andrew Haslam – appointed by the Company Charles Diao – appointed by the Company Lisa Orme – nominated by the members Mark Tigwell – nominated by the members

Looking after your personal dataAs the merger has now been completed, your personal data has been passed to the Trustee of the DXC Pension Plan, who is now the Data Controller. As the Data Controller, the Trustee has a duty to ensure that members’ personal data under its control is processed in compliance with the principles contained in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2018.

Your personal data will be used to calculate and pay benefits under the DXC Pension Plan and to administer the Plan as a whole. The data may include items categorised as ‘special categories of personal data’ under Article 9 of GDPR, such as medical details and also information about you and your family in relation to distributing death benefits.

The Trustee of your new scheme may process data itself or through any associated company or third-party administrator. The previous scheme administrators processed your data in conformity with the legislation by applying data security and confidentiality protocols. These processes and controls are continuing to apply to the LPC Section following the merger on 26 March 2021.

From time to time, the Trustee may also need to share information about you with their advisers and insurers and with potential new service providers so they can plan new services. If information is shared in this way, it will be shared on a confidential basis.
