RESEARCH: The focus of my research is intergroup relations; specifically, stereotypes, prejudice, and discrimination. One program of research examines diverse forms of social identity threat, and a second examines how perceived stereotypicality can influence the levels of prejudice and discrimination that target stigmatized individuals.
