• In response to recent trends in the globalization of higher education, AU started recruiting international students in 2004.
Introduction
• As of Sept 2014, AU has admitted more than 207 international students from countries such as Indonesia, Mongolia, India, Malaysia, Vietnam, Philippines, Thailand, Russia, France, German, etc.
• To better serve for international students, AU established its International College (IC) in September, 2010.
• IC aims to provide a better coordination and integration in-campus teaching and research resources for our international students.

Fill out the following forms and submit them to
the International College (IC).
1. Asia University Scholarship Affidavit
2. Emergency medical Authorization Form
Pay the following fees to the Cashier
Tuition fee (or sign for the waive)
Dormitory fee (or sign for the waive)
Registration

Receipts of tuition/dormitory/national health insurance
fees.
Starting from this academic year, the university has
designed a new & multipurpose Student ID Card.
Once you’ve completed the registration process, you will
be able to obtain your Student ID card.
You need to use it to apply for your ARC(Alien Resident
Certificate ).

For students who are awarded a monthly stipend, the money will be deposited into your bank account every month on the10th. Please visit IC to sign the monthly stipend form in 20th - 30th of previous month.Service Requirement: You need to choose from the following options to meet your service requirement for a total of 30 hours:1.TA in your own program2. TA at Center for Language Education (TOEFL 550)3. TA at International Language Corner (TOEFL 550)4. Working at the University Library5. Working at IC, other Administrative & Academic Units6. Help with pick-up service at the airport or HSR station7. Help Organize University anniversary or International week activities.

Requirements to keep Scholarship:1. Undergraduates with an average grade of 75
and above in their previous academic year;2. Graduate students with an average grade of 80
and above in their previous academic year; Otherwise, cancelled. Students who have demerit record, such as
inviting opposite sex to their rooms, drinking alcohol, cooking in the dorm, and other misbehaviors,
Downgraded and/or cancelled....

No opposite sex friends (or pets) are allowed in your
room.
Do not raise your voice in the Lobby.
No cooking (no electrical appliances) in the dorm.
No smoking or drinking in the dorm area .
You must stay-in during the curfew hours
(23:30~05:30).
You must not sleep out from Sunday to Thursday.
You must present for the roll-call at 23:30(Sun-Thur).
RESTRICTIONS IN DORMITORY
Any violation or misconduct will lead to a
maximum penalty of expelling from the
dorm without refund.

Undergraduate international students must
attend compulsory 0-credit course “Service
Learning Education” offered by General
Affairs Office.
Students who are awarded the part of
monthly stipend are required to participate
in some voluntary services, which are
coordinated by the International College.
