CEDARSStaff Schedule.CourseID Error
OSPI has notified WSIPC that they have had a large number of districts with the following exceptions this week: “Staff Schedule.CourseID does not have a parent record in the Course Catalog file” and “Student Schedule.CourseID does not have a parent record in the Course Catalog file”. PROCEDURE:Ensure that courses with a Course Status of Inactive or a Category of Transfer (WS\OF\CS\BC\CM) do not have a teacher assigned to the Meet, and do not have students scheduled into the Section. NOTES:Courses with a Status of Inactive or a Category of Transfer are not included in the Course Catalog file. However, if there is a teacher assigned to the Meet or students scheduled in the Section, those courses are included in the Staff and/or Student Schedule files. If a course is not included in the Course Catalog file but is included in the Staff Schedule file and/or the Student Schedule file, it will cause the above exceptions.
