Welcome to Stage 3
2019
Acknowledgement of Country
As we gather here today, we acknowledge the Gadigal people as the traditional custodians of the land on which our school is situated. We also pay our respects to the Eora Elders of the past, present
and future, for they hold the memories, traditions, culture and hopes of Aboriginal Australia. We extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torre Strait Islander students and families of Randwick Public School and recognise the continuing connection Indigenous people have to the land and
water of this region. We must always remember that under the concrete and asphalt, this school is, was and always will be on traditional Aboriginal land. May we continue to learn and grow together as
a safe, respectful and united community. Welcome back to school everyone!
