Dexter buys 2 sausage rolls, a chicken burger and a ham and
cheese panini.

Rosie has a weekly budget of £6.50 to use on hot snacks.

Matt, the chef, wants to create a new main meal for the lunch
time menu.
a) Choose your favourite meal and create a recipe for him to
use (you may use the internet for research).
b) How much of each ingredient would you need to make
the recipe for 40 people?

Task Two
Here are the costs for each student to go to Fairthorne Manor.

b) If all of Year 7 (240 students) go on the school trip, work out the total cost of the school trip.
Mrs Haynes is planning a school trip to Fairthorne Manor.
She wants to design a three day timetable running from
08.00 to 16.00. There are over 25 activities to choose from

Each activity must last at least 40 minutes
Design a timetable for Mrs Haynes to use for her trip.
On the school trip there needs to be 1 adult for every 20
students.
a) How many adults are needed for 240 students?
b) A coach can take 70 people in total. How many coaches
are needed for the school trip?

The table shows the results of a long jump competition:

At Priestlands there are four houses.

As part of Priestlands Sports Day the four houses take part
in a tug of war tournament.
In the first round, each team must compete with each other

Mrs Peacock, Head of PE, is organising the afterschool
sports clubs. She wants to know which sports the PE
department should run.
By carrying out a survey on your friends and family, decide
which sports Mrs Peacock should include.

Each chicken needs to have an area of 2m2.
How many ways can you create a new chicken coop?
For each design, work out the perimeter.

In 2018, there was 80 potatoes in the walled garden.
In 2019, there was 15% increase in the number of potatoes.
