You do not need to ask permission: – use the restroom– take a drink of water– retrieve classroom supplies– sharpen a pencil (use a handheld however

if I am instructing…)

Three R Calendar consequences…

Keep conversation to a minimum

“When you feel the need to talk, try the ability to think.”Speaking for speaking’s sake is unnecessary and

interferes with the classroom climate.

Background music is played daily and should be heard during independent and collaborative working situations.

Grab some sticky notes if you are struggling with silence and try this exercise:

• What colors do you see at sunset? Candlelight • What colors do you see at sunrise? Frosty

dew• Make a list of colors in nature.• What colors are not found in the crayon

box?

The ONE expectation to remember…

• Let me know if you plan on NOT following the expectations in advance. Think about that one for a moment!

• Choosing NOT to follow the rules will result in a ONE time warning and SECOND warning of removal from classroom with a discipline assignment.– Why would you NOT want to be here

with ME?

Mrs. Nadeau will never ask you to do something that she is not modeling

herself. Please help me help keep YOUR classroom safe!
