Welcome to Low Wray CampsiteWe hope you enjoy your stay. Here is some information to help you get the most out of your visit.
• Make sure tents are at least six metres apart (approximately seven paces)
• Please be quiet, especially from 11pm-7am, and be considerate of other campers
• Help us keep the site clean by using the bins and recycling points provided
• Fires are only allowed if they are contained and raised off the ground
• Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome so long as they are cleared up after
If you have any problems during your stay, please tell a member of staff and we will do our best to help.
In the event of an incident, please go to reception.
If the reception is closed, an emergency contact number will be displayed.

Additional Information
Opening times vary depending on the season. For current opening times, please see the shop/reception door or the notices at the toilet blocks.
The shop sells a wide range of food, fresh pastries, hot drinks, confectionery, camping equipment, maps, etc. You can also hire bikes and bat detector kits, book outdoor activities, try our orienteering course, charge phones, get hot water and find out lots of things to do in the area. If you want anything, just come and ask and we will do our best to help.

further, please ask at reception about membership, volunteering
or visiting our local special places.

Raft BuildingFantastic fun family or group activity – design, build & test your raft. Will it sink or swim? Be prepared to get wet…Age 8+, Minimum of 4 (£30pp), 6+ (£25pp). This activity is not on the calendar, but can be booked in advance.

Gorge Scrambling for the AdventurousStoneycroft Ghyll is one of the best gorge scrambles in the Lake District. We do this one as a descent and it’s wet from the start, with rock slides, jumps and pools to swim across, it’s fast and furious and packs in a huge amount of challenge. On a warm summers day, there is no better adventure to have.Age 8+, £25pp. Perfect for those with some previous experience & basic fitness.

This deep gorge is stunning, with some great deep pools to jump into & tonnes of challenges & amazing rocky waterfalls to climb. A real favourite.Age 8+, £28/child, £31/adult Perfect for those with some previous experience and basic fitness.
ConistonGorge Scrambling for the Adventurous
Discover Rock ClimbingDiscover this fantastic sport in one of the finest destinations in the country. You’ll have an amazing experience and learn some great skills along the way.Age 6+, £25pp. No experience required just basic fitness.
These exciting adventures are guided by experienced, friendly, qualified instructors from Quest 4 Adventure.
Leave your car behind and explore the area by bike or boat. There are loads of fantastic routes from the campsite. Ask our staff who will tell you the best places to go.
Great value full and half day rates for bikes, and hourly rates for sit-on kayaks, Canadian canoes and paddle boards - available 7 days a week.
