What is an Operating System - OS! An OS is the most important software that runs on a computer. It

manages the computer's Memory, Processes & all of its Software & Hardware. It also allows you to Communicate with the computer, without knowing how to Speak the Computer's Language. Without an OS, a computer is useless.

For large systems, the OS has even greater Responsibility's & Power's. It is like a traffic cop - it makes sure that Different Program's & User's running at the same time. But don’t interfere with each other. The OS is also responsible for Security, ensuring that Unauthorized User's do not access the system.

What is Linux & why? Linux is not an OS! It’s a kernel! So, What is a Kernel?

Kernel is a program, which is all time running in an OS! It’s an interface between Hardware's & Software's. it’s a System Software.
