A Day in the Life of JPMS

School begins at 7:55 a.m.

Students catch buses as early as 7:00 a.m.

School ends at 2:40 p.m.

Bus lists will be on the website

• Supplies are listed on the JPMS Website

Lunch• John Poole students have

options in selecting lunch

• Students can bring a lunch, buy a lunch, or buy a la carte items

• Parents can pay for lunch online

Grades look different next year!

Students will earn: • A - 89.5-100%• B - 79.5-89.5%• C - 69.5-79.5%• D - 59.5-69.5%• E - 0-49.5%

Edline is an online grading program that keeps you updated on your child’s grades.

All students and parents will receive access to Edline at the beginning of the school year.

Lockers

• All students will receive two lockers with combination locks

• hall locker

• P.E. locker

• No one shares a locker

Physical Education

• All students are required to wear a physical educational uniform consisting of blue shorts and a gray t-shirt

• Uniforms can be purchased online

• Students must dress in their uniform each time they have P.E.

• A nine-week unit in health is taught as part of physical education
