Welcome to FUNMAT2019
We are pleased to invite you to Kraków for the 4th edition of the International
Conference on Functional Molecular Materials, FUNMAT2019 which will be held on
25th–27th November 2019.
The meeting is intended as an international forum for researchers working at the border
of chemistry, physics and materials science to present and discuss the newest
achievements in the area of molecular functional materials, molecular magnetism and
molecular spintronics. We sincerely believe it will continue the success of the previous
FUNMAT meetings and provide many opportunities to share ideas and consolidate the
molecular magnetism and molecular spintronics communities. This year, our conference
is co-organized by the COST Molspin Action, being particularly related to its Working
Group 3 (WG3) "Molecular spins for quantum technologies". Therefore, the special topic-
related sessions will be organized.
We look forward to seeing you in Kraków!

Castle holds permanent exhibitions, such as Royal Private Apartments, State Rooms with
a great collection of figural tapestries, the Crown Treasury and Armoury. The Wawel
Royal Castle is a must-see point on the map of Kraków. For detailed information please
consult the following website: https://wawel.krakow.pl/en
